    * * * * *

Well I suppose il start off with what ive got for now for mods but first lets start from day one !

I bought the truck brand new off the lot at my local dealership back in 2010 and so this is my very first vehicle I can call my own. (this is the only good picture i have for it being completely stock)

    75645_455408870825_3238431_n1_zps463bad0_e1ab228bb621203cc39a9ca47153a0fbeeb69783.jpg

The picture was literally the first day i got to pickup my truck at the dealership! haha

So exaclty one week later i got the command start which is a very nice plus to have with these cold winters we have here. Soon after that I got myself a tonneau cover, this came in handy for the many roadtrips I take during the year for when bad weather hits i dont have to grab a tarp and wrap everything inside! lol

Fast forward about 3-4 months later i heard that toyota offers a S/C for our trucks! I was pretty much sold one that since i thought the stock motor was lacking a bit of HP. Back then i never heard of URD or else i would have went with URD but i dont regret having this S/C as well.

    DSC00227_zpsc4ee4fcc_3840bc1be214d38235019ac2699567ec1f1f07eb.jpg

I know my engine bay isn't as pretty as others but its hard to keep clean (the intake and exhaust came 6 months after haha)

After getting the supercharger i wanted to get some new rims so i went to my local Kal-Tire to get some new rims and rubber and i believe they look nice. (Dunno why but reading quite alot of builds people dont seem to like chrome? lol)

Wasn't soon enough i ordered a new pair of headlights as well (got these off ebay & my first pair of HID's)

    IMG_0096_zps8ef62d03_e38e34dfdabc99f2509b5b9107f8692ae601eb36.jpg

Few more months went by and i decided to upgrade to a touchscreen deck and i went with an alpine deck. At the same time upgrading to a couple of 10" subs from JL audio. JL audio made a very nice stealth box to fit behind my rear seats withough sacraficing to much room, i thought it was the perfect bang for your buck!

    DSC00220_zps0ef202b5_5089a6cb828ca771ef95eb4e3041910d7b0c667c.jpg
    DSC00222_zpsdc961b7b_bf71ac2e22d572d053d644f1a02ddd55c78ce296.jpg

As well I have an 800W amp just powering the subs, I left the stock speakers in and still get a pretty good sound!

    DSC00221_zps82d8ed93_e73679fcf163834a5ba230c37e9fe78b886c9f65.jpg

So thats where my truck stood for the longest time until i ran accross TacomaWorld, asked a few questions and became hooked to see where this build will go. Soon after running into that site i got asked to check out XRU and became hooked here as well !

Thats when the mod bug really took affect and i ordered a bunch of more goodies for the truck! (fuel pump, headers, y-pipe, smaller pulley, better HIDs, grill and new retrofit headlights)

I finally was able to install the headers, y-pipe and my AFR guage just little while ago and gotta say first impressions was that since the TRD exhaust was more tame the y-pipe and headers made the exhaust TWICE as loud. I loved the deep purr at idle and even a WOT, the one thing i need to complete the exhaust is a RESONATOR since ive got the insane rasp!

    DSC00234_zpsea83a80c_626ff8ebc2848ccbd1570ac0ba5ad8ebb81512cb.jpg

Out with the old and in with the new!

    DSC00228_zps22d37a4f_d424053ad051ad6f56150560834bc0840dcd7154.jpg

Now for hooking up the O2 sensors ive got mine right in the collector for the engine can read from all 6 cylinders and have the middle bank plugged off (its a little hard to see in the pic)

    DSC00229_zps769f0ff8_940c22eb064e5282a37413c95026165f2638b300.jpg

As for the AEM AFR Gauge I needed an extra bung welded to the Y-Pipe, had the bung welded in the collector as well for i can see what all 6 cylinders are doing

Now this was just when i turned the engine on for i can show you the gauge and my set-up (looks like what everyone else is doing LOL)

    DSC00219_zpse37a9b8d_c7722fd2493afdcf2834420eb27617518a799530.jpg

For now this is all ive got but there will be ALOT more coming, i figured i would get a head start on this before everything gets installed

    To Be Installed
-Stealth Aeromotive Fuel Pump / FPR Mod?
    -URD 2.8 Pulley
    -Retrofit Headlights With Eyelids
    -Billet Grill
    -Interior Lighting

    *NOTE*
Im only going to be updating the current pic and mods list, to find out what happened go through the build! :D

So ive got the truck in for replacing the fuel pump with URD's external filter as well on the upcoming monday at my shop.

On a side note here are two pumps that have a different output but has similiar design. They are the walbro 255lph and the aeromotive stealth 340lph.

    DSC00238_zpseb2cce5b_29c9bf4bd1798e7b5f1804b6f4813d22aae8c93f.jpg

Now the only reason i have two was that this walbro is not the HP version because it came with URD's fuel pump upgrade. I needed a pump that would be similair to the Walbro HP version so i ordered the stealth with even a higher output which should be more then enough for what i want to do with the truck. (really funny now that URD can offer this pump in their kit now LOL)

Well the pump is in so now im guaranteed a pump worthy of providing more then enough flow for the engine

Looking underneath the truck I can now get to the fuel filter and replace at necessary intervals

Well I hate to say this but I ordered the wrong size of resonator, ordered 2.25" but realized about a week later I need 2.5" because that's the size of the TRD exhaust -.- oooops lol

I would like to put the smaller pulley for my next upgrade but il be over that 80% duty cycle with the injectors I have now but only by a little bit, the injectors won't be maxed out though, so it looks il have to do the FPR first depending on others opinions (I already have an idea what's coming lol)

As well I've been comparing my truck with others that have similar mods as I do for I can have some kind of estimate of where I'm am at horsepower. Trying to get my truck to a dyno is very difficult since its a 4.5 hr drive one way lol I'm comparing my truck to jarhead0313 since we are similar but the only difference is the intake. Now according to his dyno he made 313 RWHP and that's close to about 368 crank hp.

Now according to calculations to achieve proper fueling with 368 crank hp you need 446 CC injectors. Now with the TRD only gives you 425 CC injectors lol with that said the injectors will be at 84% duty cycle. I don't think it's a huge deal but if I go with more hp the FPR will be a must.

    Any thoughts??

    http://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx

If you have the FPR mod, and are running 8 psi boost, then just enter the new fuel pressure as 51.5 psi.

The TRD injectors will be good at just over 455 ccm

I thought for sure you woulda said something over in XRU lol

That's the site I'm using to calculate everything, so pretty much saying might as well do the FPR for it doesn't strain the injectors lol but should I really worry about a 4% over?

    Well here's the latest update:

Excited to finally see the right sized resonator arrive in the mail today!!

    DSC00245_zps7968b472_97e92c7eb5a5994badad34335e9ceb9e0a99bd87.jpg

Now gotta book my truck in to get that welded in there

As well doing a few things with the FPR, had to fabricate a custom mount to where i wanna put it in the engine bay.

    DSC00246_zpseec8a1f1_1e553800d57b25b96a357260bde145436fc30bf7.jpg

So you cann see that the shorter piece is what originally came with the Regulator so i extended the mount a bit

ahhhh come on, its just an exhaust/potentially supercharger whine vid. just have to cut the handles off the beginning and end of the video, smash a few clips into each other, bam, perfect representation of exhaust
