Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Shackles are amazing since they are just a little longer and greasable! I like the droop the shackle flip gives but it gives more body roll than inverted. For me that means nothing since I have no sway bar, 700# springs and Expos in the rear but it feels awesome rolling onto the freeway a little hot. It's really not a huge difference but notable and you should be aware.

I concur, skip Brute Force. The shorty swing out rocks but the customer service/communication is lacking. Pelfreybilt all the way.

I'm gonna try local first but if I get nothing I will PM you. Gonna be pricey to ship plus I need the strips from who ever buys them since I was a nice guy and gave mine to someone who then traded in their truck on a POS CRV and got almost zero value out of it! Cough*** Jake ***Cough

    Couple questions.......

    1) was the ATO shackle flip bolt on or was there some modification involved?
    2) why did you switch from 255? MPH with 255? they are in my very near future...
    3) Did you just gut out all of the plastic under the fender well? I did some trimming but wondering if it was ok to just gut it all out when i trim my fenders.

Thanks in advanced. Your truck is awesome!!! Giving me some ideas...... all of which are going to cost me significant amount of money.

    1) Shackle flip is bolt on...But it requires removing 8 rivets in the frame that are a PITA to get off. It is a great mod though and I am happy with it!

    2) Went from 255(33) to 315(35) because I have no will power and folded to peer pressure ;) Just a bigger tiar for more clearance.

    3) For 255's you do not need to cut any plastic or do a CMC if using OEM TRD OR wheels or rims with 4.5BS...It was awesome! Everything just works so nicely with 255's. It is the perfect setup for Tacos!

Thanks...Hopefully I don't spend too much of your money for you!

Ive been looking at wheels too. How do you like the Trail team wheels? Im on a pro comp wheel now but had to go to spacers and all kinds of mess so i will be giong back to a toyota wheel. Im contemplating btw 17" and 16" wheels. Whats your thoughts? Also do you know the difference btw the "real" and replica trail team wheels?

I love my TT wheels! If you plan to go 255 they are the perfect BS and width and look great!

Mine were $150 a piece and are the OEM ones. The replica's are just painted ones that came in silver. you can get these black oem TT wheels around for $150 each shipped...Paul might still have the link! Now that I am on 315s I run a spacer but with 255 and these it was perfect!

Also for a wheeled truck I see no upside to 17" wheels...

Well for $300 a wheel they are not worth it...They are still nice but I got 5 for $750 and have been happy as a clam! Take a look at SCS. They make some nice 16/17's I like the 5 star and almost picked them up so I could remove the spacers and give these 315's a little more rim width.
