But the DRL from factory acts as a blinker and then isn't on when headlights are on and i want the halos on all the time for my possible retro fit

So basically if the car is on, the halo will be on correct, no matter if headlights are on or off, same with parking lights?

    Not much.
    Thanks man I appreciate it!

I do have the halos wired into the DTRL. Basically used quick splices and spliced the power into power and ground to ground. If you want them to be on when you turn the parking lights on then use the green power wires for each side. If you want them to be on with the DTRLs (which will blink with the turn signals) splice them into the blue and yellow wires.

    Nice meeting you to brother

If you don't want to wire them into the DTRLs and want them on constantly, wire them into the corner lights. I'm pretty sure those stay illuminated when you click over a turn signal.

    Basically ^

lol, good question. I've been pulled over once since I bought the truck new in May 2012. It helps having several family members working for SDPD. Also, when I see the amber DTRLs of a cop, I just roll down my windows to be safe. I actually fell asleep at the beach after surfing late at night and a cop pulled up, knocked on my window and basically started the 21 questions. Long story short, we knew some of the same people in the military and shared similar experiences so when he was about to get back into his vehicle he said "Watch the tint," and laughed. No tickets, no warnings.

Damn nice truck!!! I just picked up a 2013 from the dealership. They had already installed a 3" lift and 33's on American Racing wheels on it. Just got to start working on the rest of the truck now.

You have given me some good ideas. Keep it up.

Holy Sheeyit! AMAZINGLY good looking ride man.

I don't want your headlights.. I NEED your headlights. Can you please give more info?

I'm not ballsy enough to do that much tint, but man it looks good. Too bad I don't know any police around here. well.. no I don't like cops.. never mind! :)

It is a Pro Comp 3 inch lift with shocks. Not top of the line but a good starter. It is covered under warranty because the dealer put it on and i will upgrade after my next deployment.

Datsik has inspired the next few things for my truck.

lol, In my experience, the majority of Tacomas in Hawaii are late 87's-03's and occasionally the 05-13's but rare. Most of them had BIGASS wheels & tires too lol

Nice congratulations man, you already have the MOD bug haha. Thank you sir, I will I promise you that :p

Yah cops in SD are pretty chill about the tint.

I have to agree with Corey. You're right 3" lift from the dealer is a good start, especially considering it's still under warranty... BUT, you could have a much better lift for the same cost. It'll only take a bit longer for you to install it yourself.

You too man, thanks a lot for swinging by with those tires. They're bitchin.

Don't do it man... Don't do it hahah.

Thanks brother! So much more planned for her.

hahaha, thanks man. I hate to throw it on Burt but if you PM Ambiguous he can answer every single one of your questions about the headlights. I have a link posted on the first thread of his headlights. As far as tint I have 2 rules, it needs to look clean and I need my privacy. I literally can't stand when randoms think their disgusting eye balls belong in your vehicle lol.

Thank you sir! You're rig is for sure on my top 10 brotha and I haven't heard anything about the Pismo meet, I'll have to do some research on that. Most likely I'd be down to go.

I wanted the TRD exhaust because it's subtle but I wanted the clean symmetrical look, plus it gives me more clearance underneath.

I'm kinda mad you have illest on your truck BTW -_- I was thinking about taking my illest license plate cover and putting it on the taco but it looks like you've already claimed those grounds hah.

That's definitely a good start man, I went with the Bilstein 5100s at first with some 265s. I love deploying lol.
