for the 285s to fit you just had 5100s up front and AAL in the rear right? how much trimming did you have to do?

Currently have stock Coil/shock set with a readylift spacer. It fit with some basic trimming of fender well, and removal of mud flaps. After a year, they settled, and are rubbing on turns, mostly reversing.

So I purchased the 5100 & 5125's. Will be running 5100 set to 0 with 3" top plate spacer up front. And TSB + TSB AAL w/5125's in the rear.

I know the spacer is a bad idea, but all I've been hearing with C/O set's: Dont set them higher than 2.5" or your ride will suck. So why spend $800 plus dollars on a C/O to run them at a risky hieght.

I will run these for now, until that RCD 4.5" set is making more of a name out there:D

WP Pulley & Alt pulley installed, WP/P took 10mins. Alt took about 45ish, need impact gun:

    5100's up front/5125's Rear:

Toytech TSB AAL/ Diff drop/ Ext. U Bolts
    [IMG]

5100's up front, still need the diff drop. Was originally supposed to run at stock setting, and slap on Hodges 3" top plate spacer, Holy crap that would not fit. Could not get the UCA back on the spindle, and when put back on tires, my truck was sitting at more than 4.5" of lift, LOL...: So what you see is what im runnig til sagging begins:cool:

    Rear TSB w/AAL, & 5125's:

Before install was running Readylift 2.25" level with rear TSB done:

After install, Billies set @ 2nd from the top for now. I like the look rides great and clears my 33's completely. If springs sag anymore I will raise it to highest setting:

    Still to come:

And unfortunate need to swap to a Pipe Bomb set up.

Pulleys are great. The Alt install was not that bad. Go to XRunderground for the write up, came in handy.

Enjoy, and PM me if you have any questions...

truck is coming along nicely. quick question though- did switching from readylift spacers to bilsteins raise the front higher. i currently have the readylift also(2.25 lift) and want to go the 5100's but i'm worried that i won't achieve the same lift.

I'm afraid, you have installed the spring seat upside down. I once did it and I got 4.5" of lift. I immediately corrected it because the instruction says that improper installation will cause permanent damage to the shock.

Here's how 1.75 setting looks like. I got exactly 1.75" of lift only.
