Holy crap dude... I came home for lunch and immediately panic'd when I read your post. Thank god I made it in time, with no damge. When I removed the seat, I could see that the clip was almost coming off. It would of been a bad day in my life... Ouch!

DTacoms, thank you very much. You saved my ass:eek:

Rep has been sent your way.

Hodge... it was all my fault actually, never really bothered to look at the diagram of how to place the seat. Slid it on and took it for granted.

All is good. Think the height is a little higher. Ride is still better than when I had stock shock with ready lift. Dude, but these shock tips are done. I could not get that vise grip to bite for nothing. Got them tight enough to expose a couple threads though. Im just gunnaa start saving up for the RCD... My CV's are pretty much screaming even w/the diff drop.

Oh well, clearing the tires was the original goal, and it's accomplished for now:D

    rox,

dtacom beat me to the punch. glad you caught it before it was too late. nevertheless, with or without that little bit of extra height the truck still looks great and will be safe now.

Just got back from Auto shop and finished installing my brandnew 5100's...

Wanna thank Sonny at DSM for rushing those out to me. My last set had a stripped nut and I was driving around without a fully compressed spring:eek:

Damn bad luck for me. One shop here wanted to rape me of $500 saying they would have to rip apart the whole front end and inspect, then retap the thread and all. I said horse shit and called Sonny. Long story short he was more than helpful, and lets just say, I was no where near that drastically overpriced $500 quote I was given locally:D

Thanks all, truck is safe, looking good, and now with the DT Pipe Bomb, it's sounds awesome.

Will post pic of new height & stance, and also a vid clip of the new exhaust note...

I'm really happy with it. Besides the fact that it looks awesome, it keeps the intake air temps right about ambient air temp... Sounds normal for daily driving, and even better when you stomp on it.

It's a bit pricier than the other intakes, but allows me to have a TCAI when on the road, and then eassily converts to a closed box intake when offroading...

That would be the Pro Comp Suspension
    Stem to Loop conversion Kit
5/8" and Adds 1.5" to Shock Length

Comes w/Toytech kit as pictured... And sonny @ DSM can hook you up so you can run the 5125's or 5150's...
