I think I'm going to need something bigger than 1/4'' though. But at the same time I don't know how big I can actually go. Looking back at the photos I took when cycling the suspension I don't have much room between the CMC plate and the tire. I really don't want to redo that... But I'm almost positive I have less than 1'' between the tire and the CMC...

I saw the thread....If I can find spacers to get me to clear the UCA and they don't cause me to rub my cmc, then I might just join you guys!

I've got to make another trip to LA this weekend anyways. That's kinda on the way right? :p

On a side note, aside from getting a snorkel do any 2nd gen guys have any ideas for protecting the air intake now that the fender plastics have been removed?

Finally got my hammock mounts all set up. Just have to do a little more grinding to the tube and they'll be set.

    Thanks for the welding Timmmmmahh!

Welded some tubing on the inside of the bumper and the tube you see in the photo just slide in. I think I have pics of the inside of the bumper if you want to see.

Hey, those jeans are 15 years years old and have served me well. I have earned every hole in them! :)

There will be much better scenery in the very very near future.

That's my lucky pair of pants, there are here to stay bro!

Here are a couple more photos of the hammock mounts.

I got some tubing welded to the inside of the bumpers. For the front I went from wing all the way to the main bumper support. I figured the wing wouldn't be able to support all the weight, so this thing should hold up just fine. Turns out there to no flexing whatso ever in the wing, and my fog mounts didn't need to be changed.

Did the rear just the same, but didn't take any pics. Both tubes come out at about 45°
    [IMG]

Just have to adjust the lines a bit more to bring it higher off the ground, and I'll be good to go!

I'm busy up until mid-late July, but I'm totally down to get back out there. Now that I have some real tires we're going to have to do Miller though! :D
