I couldn't either. It was a good day. My only regret is I could have bought your bumper before you but I passed on it. Wanna trade the plate for your bumper straight up

Had no choice had just bought my icon setup and didn't feel like doing creative financing to swing the bumper plus the wifey knows nothing about the icons but the bumper woulda been a bit noticeable.

Ha ha...yeah I fell into the same trap. I just got the bumper then found a way to get my icons for cheap. Then had to get the lights and new tires. So I did creative financing which is why I have no wife ha ha.

Tom, were you able to just free-drill the holes for your SuperBumps in the rear to match the pre-tapped AP flip kit? Planning on ordering the front/rear bumps and AP kit soon.

Edit - Whoops, I just remembered you were rolling without bumps for a while and saw you just got them. Let me know how it goes with drilling out the rear brackets.

Double Edit - Happy Birthday!

Ok just got done putting them on. Drilling them out is easy enough. The holes on my flip plate are 3 inches on center so that is what the bump plates were drilled to. I did it by hand with no problems. I've been a mechanic my whole working life so it comes pretty natural to me. But you will not have any issues. Some trimming of the bump plate edges was required also to clearance around the ubolt washers... Very minimal though.

Copy, thanks. Did you just use a file or the edge of the drill to trim the bracket edges? Also, what size are the tapped holes on the flip kit bracket? (What size drill bit did you use?)

Did you do any rough cycling on the suspension? Just asking because I don't know what leaf pack the super bumps were intended to be used on. Looks like you have Dakars which are about a medium stack height, certainly more than factory but less than something like an expo. The thicker the pack the higher the mount and if its too high you are giving up precious up-travel. That could be pretty easily adjusted by shortening the bump standoff.
