    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
Thanks guys!!! :D It's getting dark! lol

    Because bro, I don't like owning fake hoodscoops...EVER. :p

I've thought about getting a TRD Sport LED mirror kit but mehhh, it's not completely plug and play. Plus, painted mirrors look like shiiiotttt over time from road debris. I'll take the faded black mirrors haha.

Unfreaking believable!!! Nice demo of the working lights. Curious as to how bright the main bulb is. Looks like a Halo effect, but wondering if the centers light up as well?

MARC!! Thanks man...how's that short shifter so far?!?! Love that thing!

Haha the beauty of the 460's is the super defined cutoff, and you literally have to be standing at the right angle to see them on camera. I wasn't bent down enough to get them fully in frame in that video but they did turn on at one point. You can actually see the middle turn off when all the lights were turning off.

    Here's a pic I took later today to catch the LS460 cutoff/flicker. It's nice and bright. :)

LOL, so does that mean you're getting a TRD SC to make your new scoop functional??!?!?! DOOO EEEEET. Can't ride next week brah, I'll be up in Tahoe for my best friend's wedding festivities....yikes!

Shifter is a dream. You need one if you dont mind a bit of gear noise. Nice precise clickies, like a good tranny should feel  I did wrap an old bike tire tube around the shaft to aid in noise reduction, used zip ties to keep it in place under the boot. Miles better than the URD kit. I had to trim some of the console plastic to make room for the shaft in R,1,3,5. I just made a half moon shape out of it about 1/4" deep accross 3", cant even tell with the boot on.

Great vid of the lights cycling btw. I like the under headlight lights too

How did you feed the rigid dually wiring through the hood bracing?

Oh man the URD SS is definitely NOT on my recommendation list lol. After driving a friend's 6sp Taco with it on, screw that. Reverse is damn near impossible to get into sometimes too. Not my style lol.

I'll have to give a better look at the SS you've got, loving the click actuation between gears. That's one of the most satisfying things about driving manual honestly!

Thanks man, you should have seen the instructions and the unnecessary wiring Toyota wanted the end user/installer to deal with for those XSP-X package LED DRL bezels. It was unreal how much work(hell) they want to put you through haha. I simplified the harness substantially and added a relay then called it a day. Can't roll around with my new fogs as DRL's now, people might not like 2200 lumens being forced upon them in the opposite direction. :D

No problem man! I actually netted a small profit with this retrofit to be honest lol. The person who bought my old retrofit headlights off me offered me THAT much......but for someone outright paying for a professional retrofitter like Lightwerkz to do a fresh set of headlights, it's definitely not cheap. Had I not gotten such an amazing offer for my old lights, I would not have gone with such a premium retrofit. I've known Lightwerkz for a long time, even when Caesar the owner was doing it out of his own garage so that's why I decided to go with them. I've never personally seen anything else but flawless work from them.

You do pay for the quality of work, and reputable retrofitters stand by their work and SHOULD be willing to help out the customer if any problem arises. You pay for other intangibles as well, but how much someone is willing to pay for those depends on how much they value them. Put it this way, do you want new wheels AND tires or do you want a professionally done retrofit? Haha it's a good chunk of $$$$. If I can track down my invoice, I'll PM you the exact price. The main reasons people pay big bucks for known dedicated professional retrofitters: 1)the customer can expect the retrofit to be done within a certain time frame(no wait list unless its something like parts availability), 2)the huge amount of custom parts/custom services the retrofitter has at their disposal to offer the customer, 3)being able to throw any project at a professional retrofitter without usually having to be the "guinea pig" project[aka experience], 4)the retrofitter has a reasonable guarantee on all their work which makes the customer feel more at ease.

There are a lot of talented people on here that do great retrofits, you just have to ask around. I guarantee they will always be less expensive than the big known name businesses and do the same great quality work. However, they are usually a one person operation and you will sometimes be on a wait list.

Good ole fishing with a deconstructed wire coat hanger and tape. :) You should be able to fish it through within a few minutes. An extra set of hands always helps too.

These headlights are still untouched as they came from Lightwerks, zero aiming done yet. I might lower them a tad to compensate for my lift, but they're pretty damn good right now! Overall, I'm pretty impressed with these 460's. Hard to describe how much these suckers illuminate without seeing it first hand haha.

I could see myself being at the dealership buying my next DD and determining the deal by "hmm can Andrew stuff a 460 in these headlights?" Lol
