I trimmed and remolded the fenders so very minor on the fenders and only a little bit on the inner body at full bump. The stock wheels help out a lot too.

That's crazy, especially with your 35's. Got any pictures of what you did with the fenders? Yours look factory good.

Thanks a lot guys. Yeah im just trying to get the rear end set up. The Defined Kit was sitting to low and with a load way to low. I picked up some all pro expo leafs and lifted the truck 3''. I was really surprised how high the expo leafs lifted the truck. I also have been working on a dual battery mount and set up. I will post picture when its done. Also trying to figure out what inverter to get.

Haha yeah i am going to run the SOA again. I never cut any of the spring mounts off so everything still bolted in. I ran the Defined kit about a year but going through the rocks it was way to low with all the camping gear and also hung up on the springs. After seeing my friends truck and a lot of others on TW with the expo leafs i felt like it was a better way to go. Looking forward to testing them out.

The things i will have to adjust with the SOA is extend brake lines, longer limit straps, and take the 12'' 2.5s down to king to make them 14'' shocks.

This is half Defined and half all pro expo leafs

Nice  Will your bumps still work striking on the AP flip plate? With the expos you'll be really similar to the setup i've got with pelfrey's relocate setup. Keep us updated on how the switch back to SOA goes!

Well finally found some time to get out. Made it up to Bishop and Mammoth. Tested out the dual battery set up and inverter with a heating blanket. Worked really good which kept the girlfriend happy.

    looks like fun!

good to hear about the heated blanket idea...seems like a great option versus a heater..

ended up borrowing the heater for our Utah trip, but luckily temps didn't get much lower than 30* and the tent with sleeping bags was enough to keep us warm..so i never busted out the heater

Steeltaco- Your truck looks great! A couple of questions:

First, what made you decide on the CBI moab front bumper over the others? I have a 2014 on order, and I plan on mounting the same bumper/winch combo you have.

Second--did the powdercoaters have to sandblast your stock wheels first, or were they able to apply the coating over the top? How much did that cost, if you don't mind my asking?

yeah the heating blanket worked great. We were the only ones in the camp ground sleeping in a tent. We went to sleep around 8pm and it was 25 degrees. I really dont know how low it got but it was pretty cold. Saturday we went to Lake Isabella and right before sun set we ran into a couple stuck in a 2wd tacoma so i had to help. I will say it was pretty fun pulling them out and i know they had a good ride because a couple of times both of our trucks were sideway. But over all a really good time.

So i think i am going back to spring under with a shackle flip kit. I really dont know exactly how much weight i had in the back but my guess would be around 500-700 hundred pounds. With the wrap around bumper, spare tire off the back,5 gallons of gas,Ice Chest, tent, rack, shovel, axe, tools, spare axle, spare hub, oil, radiator fluid, wood, chains, water, and whatever else i forgot. It was just my girlfriend me and the dog so i try to carry everything. Also have are front runner roof rack coming in tomorrow to get some more stuff out of the cab.

CBI makes really stout bumpers. I really like the style and strength that the front bumper provides. Im pretty sure it has more mounting points to the frame then any other front bumper. This weekend was the first time i use the winch and it was only to pull another truck out. Everything work great.

I pretty sure the just powder coated over the wheels. I dont think they sand blasted them. I cant remember exactly how much i pay but probably around $40-$50.00 a wheel. Keeping the stock wheels helps on rubbing too.
