More small important parts to get burned on. Also one more 3/8" spacer to add to the superbumps since i'm getting a smidge of coilbind when I stuff it hard going fast with the new lower control arms.

Oil, shim stacks, and rebuild kits should be here tonight. Gonna have the re-builds ready for some fun tomorrow I think :D

Also, if anyone knows of a good fab shop near riverton/lander i'd love to know about it. Was going to have Monte burn the cam tabs on for me but I cant wait till xmas to get it done since the derlin bushings just totally overpower the stock tabs...

Oh, and a plug for wheelersOR. Great folks there. Plus they send you candy with your order

My dad could probably do it too. He is at work ATM. But be back in 2 weeks I think. Maybe bit less.

    Long drive for that though

Yea, bit of a drive for some welding  But I really need whoever does it to not do a shitty job... I know there is someone around me who could kill it with all the oil field welders around here but since i'd have to pull the arms for them to do it, it kind of limits possibilities.

Yea there are definitely people around you that could do it.

No shops around though huh? You might try going to a oil field service company shop and just asking one of the welders if they could burn them in for you on a Saturday.

Skinny 33's and non seized cams I guess:notsure: I'm surprised I haven't. I always check them after hard hits in both the rocks and the dunes.

I got my shims in yesterday and it amazes me that that little flutter even does anything! Haha

Nice work on the shocks! Hope you like the new valving:woot:

haha yea that little guy makes a big difference! Valving is nutso. Also when you go to redo your rears let me know, theres a few small tricks to follow to get it setup right when re-installing. the resi valve piston can be a problem if you dont set it right...

I had no idea there were so many pieces inside of those shocks.

Good to know. I'll hit ya up.

As for the piston, Jason said to just bottom it out.

yup, bottom it out is right but the process to bottom it out has to be done right. Really it's just charging the resi to seat the resi piston at the bottom and then discharging it all so the resi can move when you push the sealhead down back into the shock.

    Things that got done today:

-Finished rebuild and revalve of coilovers
-Got the coils back on using my own super sketch ratchet method
-Added one more 3/8" spacer puck to the superbumps (had to use a new longer bolt)
-Got a tapemeasure out and cycled the front end without shocks in (Measured 10.25" of travel at the hub with the UCA uniball being the limiting droop factor)
-Made a giant mess of the garage in the process...

These compress more when stuffed hard but this is all they would compress before lifting the truck.

Somebody else finally did it and got a number over 9!:woot: And that's with 2 spacers on your bumps. I measured with no spacers. What's full droop at with the C/O in?
