NIce looking rig bro........tell me do you get equal light output fromt the Anzo headlights compared to stock?

Took a while but one of my BHLM lights is foggy and im gonna scrap them soon and either buy some new smoked from the factory or go with something like the Anzos.

    Short answer.... No.

Longer answer... Let me preface this with the light pattern is different. I was going to take a picture last night but I was too fucking tired after spending 2 hrs getting the lights adjusted. I don't know if it is the way these lights are or I just got a weird set but the reflector turns the beam into a triangle pattern. Getting the lights set up just right was a fucking bitch and they still aren't like I want them. They work good just not as good as the factory. It seems the reflector "condenses" the light pattern into two distinct patterns instead of the more stock "flood" pattern.
I'm doing the BHLM right now and I think I'll just keep these in storage in case the BHLM happens to fuck up down the road.

So in summary. They are good lights. They are a complete BITCH to set up. And they have a unusual light pattern (at least mine do).

No problem. I don't regret buying them. Like I said, if my BHLM goes to shit somewhere down the road then I'll at least have a back up. $200 insurance lol

    Thank you!

BHLM Done!!! Took most of the day but they turned out good. Now to let them cure overnight.

I did think about it but I really didn't want to do a lift and I kind of like how it sits right now.

    no, no its not..............trust me.

I thought I was done, and I was for about 2yrs, but I just dropped almost 7 grand into it and the ONLY thing u will see without crawling under the truck or popping the hood will be a simple n fab tire carrier.

You guys can run 265s with no lift.....no issues. I was gonna ask about those. Not that they look small or bad. I was just a little surprised you chose that size.

BHLM turned out nice.......heres hoping they dont fog! mine is pissing me off......oh well.....saving cash for some stock smoked or retros(retros if I hit the lottery).

There are actually 2 reasons that I decided on that tire and that was really what started all my mods on the truck honestly. I had a nail in the stock rear tire and it was close to the sidewall. The tire shop I use (really good guys by the way) said it would probably hold but they couldn't guarantee it would. My stock tires were wearing and I didn't want one new tire and 3 old ones. So I ended up with these.

The reasons I chose this size was:

1 - I didn't want the speedo to be changed. Not that, that is a big deal.

2 - I had bought these a few months before http://www.amazon.com/Thule-XG12-Pro-Crossover-265/dp/B002LF47MO/ref=au_pf_ss_2?ie=UTF8&Make=Toyota%7C76&Model=Tacoma%7C1037&Year=2011%7C2011&carId=001&n=15684181&s=automotive. That is what really made up my mind. Since mine is a PreRunner and I don't have the option of not showing up to work. I know, I know... I should have bought a 4WD but I just don't use it enough to justify the extra cost. My truck is a "Poser" lol

Yeah... Only time will tell. I couldn't wait and put them on the truck last night. They really are better then the aftermarket ones (as much as I hate to say it). Oh well... Like I said, I'll keep the Anzo's just in case because they aren't bad.

Oh... And these are nice! Here

Where could I find some retro headlights! And I see everybody talking about them bc they have a hola/led look to them! Heard they were expensive? Are they worth it? Do they take away from your overal light output? Thanks for anyone who has some answers
