alright guys I need some input on lighting...again, ganna pull the trigger tonight. My goal is to have distance and fill, and to be able to light up the road/trail like its daytime

Option 1: 2 Lightforce 170 strikers, halogen (7" round) hang those off of the light hoop. 21" single row blitzpro LED light bar mounted "low pro" on the bumper underneath the LF's. I will have the option to add a third 7" light in the future, maybe a HID for distance.
    $412
    LEDs 4,060 lumens
    Halogens 110,000 candlepower

    Option 2:
2 Lightforce 240s, halogen (9" round) bright as hell. that's all I can fit in the light hoop, BUT I have 2 flood LED pods that can fit in a cutout inside the bumper like the picture below. the plan was to do custom cutouts in a rear bumper and put the pods in there, but that can change
$343, but already spent $105 on the 6 LED OKled pods, so $448
    LEDs 3240 lumens
    Halogen 730,000 candlepower

The led low pro light bar under the main hoop would be killer.

How did you like your 36" LED bar when you had it? looking to do the same thing very shortly. mount it flush in the lower grill behind some matching mesh.

Did you go with spot of flood? I will probably go with the spot pattern.

It was a sweet setup, its a great location for a light bar, it actually works really well in bad weather because it is mounted so close to the ground. I had a spot pattern, that particular light bar threw alot of light all around, distance was decent. 36" is pretty much as big as you can go. I had to trim a good amount of the plastic lip in order for the light to sit close to the backside of the mesh.

These might help, i can grab some measurements of the sliding bottom mount brackets i used. I mounted them directly to the aluminum crash bar using self tappers and the height was pretty much perfect

    Score and snap :D

Very nice! Thanks. Good to hear. So with the spot pattern, I know led bars really don't throw a lot a light down range, but was it decent? Would you have rather gotten all flood?

Thanks for the pics. Im only worried about the clearance in that bottom bumper due to my superchargers intercooler pump sits down there.

I think spot is a better choice. The light i had isn't the best quality, i dunno what you are planning on buying, mine was a cheap chinese knockoff. Light output was still pretty impressive, and the spot pattern still threw light all around as well as decent distance, thats why i wouldn't go with flood. better quality light bars probably have better light patterns, so you might have different results, but i think spot pattern would be best for that location and that big of a light.

Check out the video in the second post. That thing lights up the trees. Should be pretty easy to tell between lows/highs and light bar.
