ya I avoid Seattle at all costs. I work in Renton, that's city enough for me. I like my quiet little town.

Yeah it's pretty exciting, heard the heartbeat for the first time about 2 weeks ago - THAT was pretty crazy! Looking forward to the next ultrasound where it looks like a baby, I think February or March for that, we're due July 25.

Congrats again to you as well. :D

Now that i look at your truck more. I for sure saw you driving the same direction as me on hwy 2 between monroe and woodinville a while back. You dont forget a black and pink Tacoma. Pretty sure we were kinda leap frogging each other on the hwy. Does that sound like you?

This is Douglas Creek in Eastern Wa. My friend and I take it to get to Wenatchee sometimes when we have extra time. Got some fun little trails! Not a big area though. We usually get through it in a couple hours.

Thanks!! Yes its a leer, I love the pink... but sadly starting this/next weekend its going to start coming off. Time to trade her in :( Having a toddler and a new baby on the way its just not big enough. Gonna be a sad sad day.

In my experience, a SUV will serve better for stroller and associated child care conveniences . This is only for 2-3 years.

As far as room to put rear facing car seat and toddler seat, there is plenty of room. There is L.A.T.C.H. system for all Tacomas 2003 and newer.

Reading back a few pages, we all know that the plate bumper serves well in protecting.

    Good luck either way.

Thanks! We are able to fit both carseats (rear facing and front facing) in my truck just fine. BUT it leaves very little room for anything else besides a diaper bag and a few other things. And living in Washington, as you may know, putting a stroller in the bed of a truck is a rare occurrence due to rain. And Ive found it more convenient to leave my canopy off most the time. I would love to keep it and cram everyone in, but its just not going to fit comfortably. Still going to stay with trucks though, with my lifestyle an SUV wouldn't cut it. Too much hauling hay/dirtbikes/dogs/etc... I had a 4runner once and it was great except when it came to needing a trailer for everything.

I upgraded to a 14' CM Tundra from my 12' Taco DCLB. I got 2 kids 3 and 5. plenty of room for them. we also have a 10' 4Runner which also works well. but nothing beats the room in the back of the Tundra. Kids can't kick the back of my seat!!!!!!!! Just got all the goodies put on last weekend!

Nice! Yeah I'll be moving out of the Toyota family :/ Probably going to end up with a chevy. Not completely sure yet. Will definitely be getting a wheeler project though, we already have plans on what we want :) gotta have something to play with. Going to be looking for a 1st gen 4runner.
