    but it seems to just take once. He even said his got wet the first time and that was Pre-boost. I talked with the Sierra Expedition guy in Arizona and he said he ran his in the rain and took in enough water to cause the enough to sputter on a couple occassions and then removed it. That's what made me stay away from it. Originally I wanted one because I don't want a snorkel yet and needed to get my intake out of the fender since I don't have any liner left anymore. So I choose to go through the firewall with it. I think it hurts my airflow a little but it doesn't seem to be a big deal without boost yet. When/if I boost I will probably have to rearrange things though.

    did I get 1 poorly engineered exhaust, or am I incapable of installing a bolt on MK2 catback.......
    Along with, am I the ONLY ONE who got a urd intake with the MAF bung/standoff improperly machined so it leaks, or forces you to keep the MAF connector slightly UNPLUGGED in order to make a connection at all?


    For shits and grins, I also wanted to see if I got another faulty intake.

    (if the MAF sensor connection and MAF sensor will not seat properly, THIS IS A FAULTY PRODUCT).

    the Exhaust tho......... You know, the one I kept screwing up my install because I must be a total jackass.

    yeah that one........... Well, I have been informed the exhaust has been reworked on the sly by URD after THEY guess what?

    Had a tacoma come in to have the MK2 exhaust installed, and they couldnt get the spare tire to fit.

    Im prolly gunna frankenstein this with a mandrel bender, a lathe, fab a new shield, frankenstien a filter that fits with the intercooler, make a gasket, and then see where I stand.

    You can always add thermal wrap to the other intake, as well as the box. It will help.

    went to parkfield yesterday with the gopro.

    almost hit a wild boar, got slideways, got footage of my INTAKE LEAK sounding like a stupid assed intake spacer.

    watched a few shooting stars, a few sattilites, then drove home.......fun fun........oh, and ate some grassfed beef burger!

    nommmz..........dodged 50 odd cows on the road, then ate 1 :)
