Pearcem87's DD Basic Build

Well, here is my simple build. My truck is my DD and only vehicle, so after much debate, for the time being, I am staying away from a lift, or any other larger mod that is more dedicated to off road performance. However, I still do need a bit more performance than stock, especially with regards to protection. Primary use will be for hunting, fishing, camping, and general exploring throughout VA, NC, and SC.

Complete: 265/75/16 Cooper AT3
Sirius/XM Satellite radio

Betterbuilt low profile slimline toolbox (this weekend)
Diff breather relocation (this weekend)

Nothing too exciting, but it's still fun to have a vehicle that I can personalize again. In a few years when I can hopefully afford a small DD, then it will be time to build her into a real trail rig

And just got my Avid bolt on sliders. Fantastic work and customer service, I couldn't be happier. I covered them with duplicolor spray on bedliner. It turned out pretty well, and provides the non-slip surface and textured finish I wanted. The finish doesn't look great, but that was mostly due to my lack of painting skills, not the product (I had to do it in doors and don't have a garage). It's good enough for me.





I also managed to get my hands on a recovery kit and a 3 ton power puller for my tool kit. Budbuilt 4 piece skids are ordered and should be here sometime in August.
