Looks good! Might want to wet sand and polish the tails to get a nice shiny look.

Your going to have to wet sand and polish cause just clear coat wont get them the way you want them to look.

I would have just used VHT Nightshades... just as easy to work with... and it's got a luster to it. I did 3 coats of Nightshades, I think.. 8 coats of Crystal Clear by Krylon, and then wed sanded, with 800. 1000, and 2000 grit paper. THen polished using Turtle Wax Polishing paste, and some Meguiars ScratchX. Mine are smooth as glass.... and allow more than enough light to pass, even in the day time. :)

Your lightbulbs could be burnt out and if she ass ends you it's still her fault. Standards of fault place more than 51% of the blame on the person rear ending another car, regardless of "reason".

I can't say what the cops will do in the event of a collision... but I can say that I've followed my Taco during the middle of the day, and at night... and my signals show through perfectly.

I've also had a cousin of mine, who is a cop... tell me they were fine. Every cop is different though... so it is a chance you are taking, I suppose....

My state's standards of fault have no exception for that, so out my way if you rear end someone, you are on the hook regardless. I've booked thousands of accidents, and an insurance broker friend made me a copy of the standards of fault they use. Maybe out west it's different? :notsure:

I'm thinking of using VHT as well. Does anyone have tried putting one coat only? Any pics?
