Chopped off the exhaust tip right after the last hanger. Looks cleaner and seems a bit throatier but it might just be me

Damn your truck is sooo sick and coming along perfect! Out of curiosity, how hard is it to get um to pass safety check with all da mods? You need recon or what? We planning on moving back home in couple years and I wasn't sure how hard was to get um to pass. Mine not nearly as nuts as yours cuz I hesitant for when come time to move...

    Thanks braddah! :D
They barely looked at my truck during recon, and neither does the safety inspection place I go to. They mostly admire it. I even went back to recon to update my papers. Not that bad if your truck is pretty mild. you should be fine. Any suspension or body mods will need a recon sticker. There is a thread about it in the Hawaii section.

Oh ok right ons! I thought was tougher than that for some reason, esp wit da newer safety check. Well my truck is def mild but get plans, but if urs pass den I good to go! I'll check the Hawaii section for da recon advice. Much Mahalos n keep it up!

The biggest problem is tires sticking out past the fenders. Especially since so many Hawaii peeps like that look.
Also welding and chopping the frame.

It's not too bad with boltons, if you start fabbing stuff then it can get tricky.

I was hanging out with my 10 year old daughter on the garage roof with some pillows and blankets checking out the stars tonight.

Nothing like being in upcountry Maui with all these stupid lights around here, but was still some good quality time :)

I haven't yet, but a buddy of mine went up there a month ago with his GF to watch the sunset. Their rental car battery died and they had no cell phone reception and were at the top for about 5 hours before another car showed up. He said they about froze their arces off as they were just wearing beach clothes and had nothing to keep warm with. Someone finally showed up and gave him a ride half way down the hill where he could get reception to call the rental car place. Took another 2 hours for them to get a tow truck up there to get them...lol Lesson learned...take towels or blanket just in case to keep warm...haha

I used to live in Kula, and we were up pretty high. I also stayed a hosmer grove a few times.

I took my truck up there when I went over on the super ferry, it's a longer drive than I thought it would be lol.
