Found the problem of the tire if you look at the middle picture there is that little white string it is causing for the tire to go uneven.

Yes but it depends on the day. GY pricing fluctuates on a daily basis. So I keep checking back to see when it's best vs my urgency/need. Nate got his tires, buy 3 get 1 free. I think that was a great deal. If we have enough people I was actually thinking about setting up a GB from them if they're game.

 

If only they made the MTR in a 255/85. Sears always had great prices on tires. The trick is to order online for in store pickup. Have you looked and the KM2's at all?

 

I think there are some, but from what i've seen, military uses 16.5" rims

 

So I took my truck in for alignment after work today at Island Brake and alignment, And the pre alignment numbers before showed -0.5* camber and -0.4 toe. So it looks like my suspension has sagged even more. I did crank the coils a few times since installing the bumpers and other armor, but wasn't enough I guess. I could crank some more but its already slightly nose high because the rear has probably sagged too...
I asked them to max out the caster to make some space for larger tires, and they did...
Now I have 4.2* of caster plenty of room now I think...
But I had a slight steering wheel shake at 60+ mph because of a slightly off balance tire, so I moved it to the rear. That's why I put off rotating tires for so long. When I noticed the bad tire wear, I rotated them back to the front and shimmy wasn't so bad. Now that I have more caster, the wheel shake is terrible, so its off to goodyear for a rebalance tomorrow. With this much caster, it drives really straight and smooth, but steering around corners feels a little heavy.

And I still think Island brake and alignment is best place for lifted/modified vehicles.

 

Does maxing out the caster move the tires forward and still keep it in alignment spec for recon? I should've asked them to do that for me. I have to get it realigned when I adjust my fronst anyway.

 

Yes it allows for more space by moving tire forward, and nope, Max allowed to be within factory spec is like 2.7*
Good thing I already have recon
