    Nope. Grandpa Lee (tacoma Grandpa) is still alive and well. It was my dads Father Grandpa Vic that passed from Diabetes

    So I have a vibe/growling. Its at slow speeds mostly when turning.... I thought it was my brakes so I did the brakes this weekend and its still there. Going to take it by the dealership tomorrow to see whats up. Could be a wheel bearing, cvs, or front diff...

    Did you go EBC or stock?
    Check the wheel bearing by jacking up the front end. Grip tire at 12 & 6 and check for play. Spin it and listen for grinding noise at the hub.
    If it's the needle bearing I need to do that too :spy:

    I get a vibration for about 2 seconds if I come to a stop, turn left and go. No growl though

    After alittle research sounds like its the needle bearing. Ill order the parts and do the install. Anyone know if I can harm anything driving around with a bad needle bearing.

    Bummer man, that sucks. I had that too... I'm assuming it goes away in 4wd? Anyways shouldn't hurt anything for time being. You could ask on the 2nd Gen needle bearing problem thread too.

    Talked to Brad. A fellow TW member who is a service manager. He says I could damage my axle after prolonged neglect.

    The east coast gear supply bushing is supposed to get rid of the sloppy play in the axle. I might as well just do it myself instead of having the delearship put a stock one in that will fail again.
