I felt like I was rubbing on the transfer case skid drop down for the exhaust all weekend. I think im going to go to the exhaust shop after work and have them move it. Then Ill just cut off the drop down for the exhaust and weld a flat plate on. What do you guys think. Will rerouting the exhaust be expensive?

Your new Grille looks sweet man! How was the Hollister Meet? I totally missed out on that one. I've never been to Hollister Hills, is it worth it? I know Carnegie is a total waste of time that place is tiny.

Hollister hills is a large park. You can get lost. It's a lot of fun. You should try to make it to the next meet there.

    3" lift
I'm new to forums, so forgive me if I fuck this up. Have you had issues with traction control or anything like that? I have a 2014 dbl cab, 3" lift, 285/70/17. I bought it from a dealer that did the install so I wouldn't have warranty issues. I bought it in OR and driving it home on 199 which is windy, the traction control would kick on and start pulsing the brakes. Local dealer calibrated and said it might never be perfect because of the lift. After that I think it's done it a couple of times.

Your post is perfect. My 2014 with the 3" I have had 0 issues with the traction control. I did have issues with traction control with the 2 inch lift on my 2012. I took it to the dealer and the recalibrated the vsc and I had zero issues after that.

    Good luck

^^^^X2. You shouldn't have traction control issues because of wind. Take it back to the dealer and have them fix it.

Windy (like ocean breeze) and windy (like curvy road) are spelled the same. Quick turns on a curvy road can cause traction control to turn on with these trucks. A vsc recalibration should help. Lots of people have had issues with this on these trucks and a lift seems to make it worse.

    A little a this, a little a that...
Cost me $250, which was expensive compared to most. There's only one muffler shop in my town open on Saturdays so i was stuck. I've heard other's pay around $150. It's the first mod i did. What a stupid design.

    Sweet truck.

There are 2 other members that I can mention who have done the re-route and theirs look pretty solid. Check out "chepo" build and "+SconnieHailer+" build.

I got the exhaust routed around the transfer case. Also got a magnaflow and a tip. I had them dump the exhaust with a turn down instead of sticking out the side. Now I just have to get the old skid modified to be flat.

Do I need heat protection on the exhaust between the drive shaft and the transfer case? There is a lot of space. I have some heat tape I could put on.
