I know the Icons are pricey but people seem to like them. I had the 5100's on my old truck and they were great. The 5100/5160 setup on my new truck is also great. If your going to do more highway then I suggest my setup.

Painted the chrome bumper with bedliner. Turned out great. The bumper is held on with 6 large bolts. I sanded the bumper. Then used two coats of primer then 4 coats of bedliner.

Nice. This looks awesome. I had posted a question. As I want get the Off Road and then swap out the grill and bumper with the white like the Sport. Was also going to do the hood to get the hood scoop.

    This looks really good.

Thanks. I wanted the offroad for Atrac and the locker. The hill im comming up in my sig pic would have been impossible without atrac. I ordered the white grill for the sport the day I bought my truck. I painted the rear bumper with bed liner because Im going to get a steel all pro one next year, but I couldnt stand the chrome. My truck is now chrome free. I keep checking craigslist for a sport hood. I'll get one eventually.

I used rustoleum etching primer. Then I did rustoleum spray bedliner. (like 4 coats) turned out great, Used the same stuff on my rear bumper and rock sliders.

Thanks. Its just two of KBVOODOO's brackets that mount to the bed cleats, two bike fork mounts, and a standard cargo rack.

The bumper is hard to get off. Its 6 bolts 2 on each side, 2 above the hitch and two license plate lights that need to be taken out. Once you get it off. Behind the license plate there are 3 small screws. take those out. The plastic on top has clips on the inside of the bumper. The side peices come off last and are the hardest. They are each held on with 1 clip and 2 screws. The bottom plasic has two screws underneath and two clips ontop under the squares that can be removed with a screw driver.

Nice build , I realy wish I went with sliders instead of steps . How do the sliders work as steps ? I feel like the oem steps are to close to the body .

They work great as steps. My sliders are flat out from the frame. Most sliders curve up but my wife wanted to be able to use them as steps.

Its just two of KBVOODOO's ( another tacoma member) brackets that mount to the bed cleats, two bike fork mounts, and a standard cargo rack I picked up on eBay.

Here is a closer pic on my old truck.

There is a great write up on TW below that convinced me to get the authority. I'll put the link below.the durAtracs were my first choice but when it came down to price the authority's were right for me. I've used them on snow, sand, mud, and freeway with no problems. They are not a quiet tire at 80 on the freeway but I've heard the durAtracs are not quiet either.
