Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
LEDs look sweet but IMO they are overrated and overpriced for the good brands. Not trying to start a LED debate lol, i think the hellas were a good choice. Maybe in a few years LEDs will blow away the competition. He would probably have to spend twice as much on LEDs to get a brighter setup with more throw compared to what he has now.
I still like love LEDs, im going with a single row 21" paired with a set of lightforce 170s.

Yes, I thought about LEDs. Cost is a consideration, but I also just prefer the look of the hellas. I also have the option to convert them to HIDs if I feel the need. The 500s are only 55W, so not really that much draw. I am running two dual 87 pin relays and good size wire.

    Installed my cb:

    Cobra 75 WX ST
    BAMF mount
K40 (SF-200K) Black 2' 500W Superflex Tunable Fiberglass CB Whip Antenna
    Firstick stud mount and spring
    Firestik firering 18' cable

The firering cable is nice and low profile on the mount. Also having the connector detached makes running it through grommets much easier. I am getting an SWR around 1.5 now. I may try to tune the antenna a bit more. I don't know what the range will be on this antenna. I really only need it for on the trail and I can fit it in the garage barely. I originally wired it through the fuse panel, but now moved power direct to the battery. I am using a ground in the cab and don't seem to get any inference while running.

BAMF mount had to be bent a little to fully clear as some people have mentioned.

Can you post up some pics on how you installed the fire ring onto the BAMF mount? I'm having trouble with mine, I've installed it idk how many different ways. Still not transmitting right; or even at all, for that matter. My squelch is all the way down and I'm not getting any static, which I should be getting.

    sure, here you go

Its exactly as described in the stud mount instructions. The little plastic bit on the ring is facing up. Do you have the 18' cable where you need to attach the connector? Maybe the problem is there?

BAMF sliders installed! Still need to drill the bottom bolts, but at least everything is in place. I did the install solo and it wasn't too bad.

    mademps,

Would you mind posting some side view photos of your whole truck? I'm considering a flat, low profile roof rack and I'm curious what my dbl cab would look like from the side. Can you provide a clearance dimension from the bottom side of the rack to the high point of the cab roof? Did you use the Slimline vehicle specific mount, or some other? Also a closeup of the molded corner pieces, I'm curious about the fit quality to the aluminum rails. Are the corner pieces a plastic type material, or are they aluminum as well? Have you noticed much wind noise, and is a fairing available for your rack? Did Frontrunner suggest a maximum weight capacity? I like that you can add tie down points to the end and side rails themselves, not just the floor slats.

Sorry for all the questions, but it's a mod I'm seriously considering, and I really like the looks of what you have.

I'll post up some pics when I get back this weekend and the dimensions.

I used the vehicle specific mount, which was included with the rack. I wasn't a huge fan of the mounts and procedure, but once its done, its all good. The corners are plastic, I will take some pics. I have the included wind deflector mounted, but there is some wind noise. Nothing too bad. I am planning to mount a light bar, which should help as well (I hope). There is another thread that discusses the weight limit. As I recall its pretty high and easily exceeds what toyota recommends as a max load on the roof. I am really happy with the look of the rack. Frontrunner sells a lot of accessories which is nice. I also got a travel bag, I'll take some shots with that as well.

Our weight capacity is 660lbs static and the corner pieces of our rack are cast aluminum as well. All our racks come with a wind deflector to delete any wind noise and vibrations that can develop without. If you would like further tie-down points you can also utilize the t-slots that run along the whole frame of the rack.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
