Bad gas in tank is it fuel pump or should i just put gas in it
Hi i lent my 2008 toyota tacoma to some friends it ran outta gas they stole a jerry can of something that was not gas, maybe watered down fuel or soemthing and put a whole jerry can in my truck then turned the key repeadley until the barttery died, i was so mad i got it towed to my friends and took battery off and charged it, so now batterys charged what else do i do to make my truck work? shoudl i automaticcally assume its the fuel pump? or i ehard you can put mentyl hydrate in tank and syphone out bad stuff then maybe put fourty gas in it and it might work, my truck was ran on low gas before and was sort of feeling liek no gas when i hit pedle sometimes,

i got noone to help me with this i have had it parked for two months

First....you need to new friends or start hanging out with a different crowd especially if they stole a gas can from someone. Somebody stole mine out the back of my truck a while back so shame on them. Fill your tank with the highest grade fuel and add a bottle of octane booster.

 

Need to flush your fuel system out, the fuel pump wouldn't go bad from pumping bad gas, you can turn the key forward and hear it kick on if you put your ear next to the tank. You will need new injectors as well.
