You've been making me think about trading in mine for a '14 and starting over :anonymous:

Lol, I'm still wondering if it was a good idea or not. It's gonna be cool to really choose parts carefully this time.

Thanks mister. I opened the door originally was so confused as to why the plastic piece was missing. I've never seen a tacoma without it?

That's my wonder. I only have 51k on mine, but I am really really missing driving a manual but don't want to have to start over that badly haha

So I put some new headlight bulbs in. The brightest ones I can buy, and they're not nearly as bright as the factory bulbs. So I took em out. That was a waste if time. So I did the foglight anytime thing. That's handy.

I'm using Sylvania Silver Star Ultra. Much brighter then stock but pricey at $30 US dollars each.

These bulbs worked great in the 05-11 headlight housing. But they're awful in these new housings.

Nah I won't spend money on that. That would be cool but the factory lights are great as they are. Awesome output.

That's money I can put toward other cool stuff :)

Also painted my exhaust this weekend, as well as other stuff underneath. Had to grease my ujoints too. They started to squeek, so they were dry obviously. That's the kind of stuff they should do during the PDI. I don't like rust. I'm gonna paint anything I can underneath.

Long boxes are awesome. I love mine. But I've always wanted a small box from the beginning. And I wanted a manual. I sure do enjoy driving standard. Makes me feel like it's my truck.. and I'm not just sitting in it, but actually controlling it. Also the Size of the truck is more my style. Double cab long box is a lot of truck. I enjoy the room but the size of the truck is almost too much sometimes.

I'm young and I don't really need the biggest tacoma they offer. And I wanted to start fresh.

    Anyway schlort bawks
