Keep your eyes on the Marketplace and snag some deals on some parts!

Richardbui23, I know why you're in here...just getting ideas when you sell that stubby little truck and get one that's useful for something other than trips to the grocery store :D

Went Christmas Tree shopping the other day.
The guy that owns the lot asked if I thought I could drive back there without getting stuck... I thanked him for making me laugh :D

Yeah, they just fill up the bed, the back seat and the front passenger seat so you have to go by yourself...

I need to wash my truck... It looks like hell!!

    Off to a good start!
    Keep it up!
Let me know when you get on 285's, that is my next purchase as I only have about 5 or 10K left in my 265's.
(They really did not last very long, kinda upset about that actually)
Anyway it is nice to see another dark blue DCLB like mine!

Any plans for the BHLM or satoshi?
The BHLM made a world of difference in the way my truck looked and it was pretty fun to do actually.
Nothing like baking your headlights in the oven!
Satoshi is next on my "cheap/free mods" list.

Thanks! I've always liked your truck too! It's one of the trucks that convinced me to buy the sport wheels and dip them haha I def want to do the BHLM. I just need some time and to build up some confidence! No satoshi, I wanted a raptor style at first but decided I didn want to attempt it and don't want to spend the cash when I'm just as happy with the stock look. I'm so undecided on tires I change my mind everyday... I'm just irritated I went from 20-22mpg down to 15-16mpg with the 275 KO's... Only time will tell I guess, been looking at some 255's as well...

You'll like the ride with the 5100's much better when you get them on, I love the way my truck rides now. Post some pics up when you get them, I'm sub'd to your build page

    Thanks for looking!

How much lift did the 885's give you? I'm torn between 884's or 885's. Don't want a bro-lean and I don't want to aal to the rear.

If you're not going to run an AAL you will most likely have a little bro lean. I got a full 3" but I have a 1/4" top plate too. They should give you 2.5" which I think will put you 1/2" or so higher in the front than rear. Which leaf pack do you have?

I've got the TSB rear, 3 leafs + 1 overload. Right now I've got a 1" Toytec spacer for the front. Just took measurements all the way around the truck. Measurements from bottom of the flare to center hub

Front driver side 21.5" front pass. side 21.75"

Rear driver side 22.5" rear pass. side 22.5"

I don't even remember what the stock measurements would be, so I have no base measurement to calculate from.

Edit- So I had to look through the folder I keep on my truck. I bought the Toytecs back in '06, and those are the spacers that give 2" of lift. So I guess, stock measurement would be 19.5 to 19.75"? That seems pretty low.

    That seems right

    These are my measurements...

    Pre lift:
    Driver Front - 20" / Passenger Front - 20 3/8"

    Driver Rear - 22 1/4" / Passenger Rear - 22 5/8"

    Post Lift:
    Driver Front - 22 7/8 / Passenger Front - 23"

    Driver Rear - 26" / Passenger Rear 26 1/8"

Those post lift rear measurements are when I had the AAL + 1.25" tapered block. I took that block out and now hove just the AAL and a 3* shim so I'm guessing I'm around 24.75"
