Can someone help me out with making a proper build up page? I hate that idk how to upload a picture that's already blown up. They are always uploaded in "attached thumbnails". I want a build page that has picture after picture when describing what I've done. I like the build pages that start with how their truck looks today.

go to the "tacoma photos" tab at the top of the page and upload your photos there. once they are uploaded, there will be a "Forum embed code (copy & paste directly in your post)" that you can copy and paste right into your post to display full sized pictures. you'll be able to see this "code" when you click on the individual pictures in your TW picture folder.

let me know if that doesn't make sense.

And you can always go back to your first post and edit it to tell your complete story if you like.

Hey Lindsey! I had forgotten all about your build thread here. I see things have progressed a little. The new grill looks good. I like the rivet looks. How has the color decisions come along? I remember you were talking a plum color for the badges and such.

Hi, I haven't barely progressed, besides the grill. I couldn't decide on a color and just debadged all the way around instead. It looks way clean, and purdy. :) next on my list is to tint headlights and taillights and paint the break calipers either black or red.

There is another purdy black tacoma around these parts. I believe he works at the dealership where I bought my truck. We stopped at a stoplight together and I rolled down my window and complimented his truck, and wanted to know how he tinted his tail lights. He said he bought them on line. Anyone know who he is on here? Send him this way.

It is always a slow progression. Slow and correct is better than fast and screwed up! Haha. If you want my opinion, I would go with black on the brake calipers. Red I think would look strange for that specific application. If you can have the truck down for a couple of days I would actually suggest getting them anodized, or powder coated. They last much longer that way.

There are a ton of different tail light modifications that you can do. I like getting smoked lenses. That way you don't have to worry about a coating or tint messing up. They are not stupid expensive really.

If you prefer an overlay, they are pretty cheap with this place. If you like the idea of a totally smoke assembly, then this place has some. Or if you like them dark, check these out.

    I'll prolly go with black.

I really like the second option for the taillights. Seems like there's a lot out there that I could choose from. I don't like them blacked out. I like black housing more-so, with slight tint. Does that make sense?

And for headlights, same thing...so many different set ups I don't know what I'll decide.

I think you will like the black on the calipers. I do get what you are talking about on the tail lights. I have my new tail lights with a light smoke that is not too "black". I still like the look of seeing the actual tail lights.
