    Same.

Sorry buddy. I don't mean to hate cuz you have a dope truck and I love it but this is honestly an insult to me, a true poor college kid. I get you live at home and that's great but still don't see where you kids find the time, money (from working a part time job with school? Or your parents?), and work to build these trucks? I'm guessing you didn't buy the truck with your own money that you earned from working? And amen to you for finding a used tc long travel kit for cheap. Didn't even know people took them off their trucks.

Haha knew this was gonna come up. It's the cheapest model you can buy. Base of the base. Standard cab 4 cyl 5 speed. Anyways So I Sold my old truck which I worked and saved up for and used all the money to put a down payment on it so I'm making monthly payments, while being a full time student and working part time. My parents don't give me squat. I pay for everything myself.

Ummm... Sorry your offended? My parents did buy my truck, but I earned scholarships to school so it was a lot cheaper to get me a truck? And my parents haven't given me a dime for it, I work 45 hours a week out doors In the 120 degree weather here to save up money to mod my truck. And yeah, you have a 2012 so I don't see your argument. That is all. Thank you.

i fail to see any poor college kit part as well. spending all your extra money on your truck does not make you poor. pay your tuition, rent, bills and other various expenses then see whats left for the truck

sorry if it comes across harsh. the title implies you want some sympathy for being in college and not having (more?) money because you are spending all your extra money you save from living at home on the rig

Haha I got scholarships for school too buddy. Still doesn't mean my parents owe me or that I'm entitled to a truck with the money. I work and go to school as well and I pay monthly payments on my BASE STANDARD CAB 2012 tacoma, and pay for everything else. It's a sick truck but I guess it's just hard for me to see how poor and long travel fit together when I'm poor and working and barely making ends meet in college. Just my 2 cents.

Yea he spends his extra money on his truck, but it could be worse. At least he's not a junkie/crackhead. We all have our vice(s) and his just happens to be his truck. ;)

Trucks over girls? Never have been able to wrap my head around this mentality. :der:

Also, there's a big difference between broke, and poor.
