    Fuballs Build Thread

I've had my truck for 5 years now and its time to put some money into it and make it mine. I use my truck every day for groceries to pulling buddies out of ditches. I want this build to be every day usable, look great, and do well off road, in that order. Product write ups, how to's and more to come as parts arrive.

    Stock Specs
    - 2007 Tacoma SR5 4X4
    - Double Cab
    - Long Box
    - Got it with 35,000 km
    - That's it bone standard

    Electrical
    - oem style fog lights
    - canopy lock with door locks
    - just ordered okled 30in light bar, installing in lower bumper as soon as it arrives

    Exterior
    - Thule roof rack
    - Leer 100XQ canopy

    Future Mods
    - Satoshi Grill
    - 5100s and AAL, when i have to replace shocks
    - AUX fuse box - when it arrives
    - Leather arm rests
    - Heated Mirrors

First time I took the truck for an off road adventure

I have a bone standard SR5 so i don't have any fog lights.

Bought this kit from amazon.ca . $85 bucks to my door but it took 7 weeks. I wasn't sure about the light quality and brightness for 85 bucks but It was cheap so I went for it.

    Box arrived.

It was the easiest thing ever to install. Any thread on here can tell you how to do it but if you know anything about electrical its easy. Run the wires, put the lights in the holes, use the screws to help aim. Trickiest thing is tapping into a 12v or aux fuse inside the cab for the switch. It took me 20 mins to install them.

The switch isn't a toyota one but it fits perfectly and the only difference is that this switch has a green led to indicate it is on.

For the price I am super happy with the amount of light they put out. Once I had them aimed properly they light up the road like crazy. Very impressed for such a cheap light set. Night photos to come.

Did you put the relay in the factory fuse box in the engine bay or did you screw it to the side of the fender?
