Sorry to hear you regret it. But you did the cool mods before they were cool.

 

I would love to see a comparison of the brightness difference. I can't see shit at night when backing up and the cap made it sooooooooooo much worse.

 

Crap I should have taken a picture. I've seen a few build that have comparison pictures. It's super easy and a nice difference. Go for it

I noticed a difference looking in my side mirrors at night, but I still can't see a single thing out the rear window

the tint was fine. The soft top ruined my life

It involves the removal, dare i say molestation, of perfectly good bulb sockets?

 

My understanding is you cut the bulb stem, not the socket

Yep. Super easy. Just put it in a vice and go slow with a dremel with a cutout wheel.

 

Rerouted my diff breather this weekend! I really need to get new brake lines and do something about my exhaust. And yes before someone asks I fixed the shock boot





It's nice to have that ease of mind. I also finally got my Firestik reinstalled! Woohoo! Finally properly grounded! While running the coax wire I finally snapped and relocated my CB. The hidden CB mod was cool, but it just didn't work out for me. You couldn't see the screen or change the channels easily. Plus the coax didn't like being in there. I just velcro'd it to the side of the panel. It holds great. Now to figure out what to do about the hole in my center console :/
