I've just come to accept that I'll probably buy another one down the road and make it my offroad only vehicle. I'm sad I sold mine, but at the same time I love my Tacoma.

I got my taco with the intent on making it a expo rig!! I'm sure at some point I may get a commuter but I don't put a lot of dd milage on it as is cause I have a company truck, right now the wait for parts is killing me, with my luck the day before I do a 10 day trip in Aug is when its all gonna show Lol

Today was slider install day, pretty straight forward these are bolt on sliders, which require drilling of two holes in the bottom of the first and 4th brackets, the only other challenge is routing the brake lines out of the way of the bolts on the second bracket, I chose to run mine underneath the bolt. Other than that a lot more massaging was needed with my bfh than I anticipated especially on the passenger side. These sliders are very tightly fit to the frame hence all the hammer work anyways I didn't take many pics but here's a couple I'll whore it out some more as I hit the trail

I used a tranny jack to lift them up these guys are beefy and heavy so I'm glad I had this

Just ordered my sliders from Jason as well. I think I'm about a month out to getting mine. I see you met kris I guess I replaced him in the red deer group when he moved out there.

So the pressure is on I'm as of today 2weeks out from a 10 day trip through Washington and Oregon. Been running around picking up things for the truck and the trip!! Yesterday I ordered a set of 265/75R16 BFG at ko's, I also picked up a new 48' high lift(an actual high lift not the chineese copy), a little tailgate propane BBQ. Today I went nuts on the sceptor cans picked up two desert tan 20L fuel and two NATO blue water cans. Its been an expensive week Lol

This past weekend my neighbour caught me on my way home from work Friday night and asked if I wanted to come out camping on Allouette lake. Which is in Golden Ears provincial park. So my old lady wanted to go to the lake anyways and I love being out on the boat so I'm like hell yea buddy I'll be at the dock at 8, got home loaded up the truck picked up some of the essentials and left for the lake at 7am Saturday morning. Which turned out to be a good idea forestry closed the lake after 400 boats launched Lol 36 degrees will do that!!!

Snapped these after a hard day tubing and wakeboarding we also managed a small hike to a decommissioned detention center no pics of on the boat stuff I have a rule about electronics and boats they don't mix Lol

For the record these are 265/75R16 BFG AT KO's in load range E which is overkill for the taco weight capacity wise, I've seen too many 6ply tires with punctures on trails this year, big influence on my desicion to go with these!

Pulled around the corner to fuel up before heading back to work go in side to grab a drink and this thing pulled up!!! Crazy looking Mercedes Benz rig its been spotted all over the lower mainland over the last two months

Well went out and put the bfg's to the test today, went back to vedder mountain, and the cell tower loop, with a quick jaunt up to the old hang gliders lookout!!! Big huge group as members of bc4wdac were doing a fundraiser for the homeless, so I didn't have time to stop and take pics on the trail group was moving slow enough as it was, tested out those cruisin off road sliders as well today as the trail is much more rutted out and no longer stock frienly. Great group great fun as usual
