This was at Truckfest in March 2014 :D

However thats definitely not how it looked when i first picked it up back in 2012.

A bit of a hunt but after a good 11 months of craigslist searching i finally found a truck i was ready to pull the trigger on.

    This is Day 1

This 2010 4x4 Tacoma TRD sport came with quite a bit of goodies. First thing i did was get rid of the bed cap. Its just not my kind of thing. maybe one day in the future, but hell i bought my truck to use the bed. i felt limited with the cap.

Originally bought it on Oahu, shipped it after a month back to Kauai and started work.

My friends and I at my home break enjoying the sand.

I always wanted a lifted Tacoma so i decided to go with the Procomp DB MX-6 6" lift. I kind of wish i went with the Fabtech lift because i hear their shocks and c/o's are much better quality but thats also way more expensive. Now its just water under the bridge.

Also during my time home i installed a 44 series flowmaster and my volant CAI.

after this i shipped the truck back to Oahu and i went to a wedding in the mainland. I was really itching for a set of 35's and luckily after hunting on Craigslist for my trip i found a set. Called the guy while i was in North Carolina and had him hold the set. Came back and the next day picked these up.

I had to make my own Satoshi. I had wanted one for a long time. Pm'ed HomerTaco and purchased his grill after having a bad experience with grillcraft. Plasti dipped my lower valence and fog light shrouds, and picked up my new UCA's all around the same month.

then i took a break from spending money for a few months.

other than gas of course:D ;)

My special parking spot up north shore @ pipe (Ehukai beach park aka. Banzai Pipeline)

Of course we had our TW meets

Decided to spend more money and then met a really cool dude by the name of Don aka 808upfront - Definitely hit him up for some custom laser etching

installed my Intake manifold spacer thanks to XTP! And traded my sounds for a new atlas leaf pack. I didn't like how the rear sags on the procomp lifts and i always hear how shitty the stock leaf packs are. At the same time i got a new ubolt flip kit also.

After years of surface rust, the 44 series is out and in goes a 2016-2021 TRD exhaust

Had to go test it out in the dirt

I am very pleased with my setup. I lifted the truck 2 more inches due to the rubbing from my 35x12.5's. I did that by more blood sweat and tears... and a set of spanner wrenches. No body lifts for me.

    IMG_20130717_111325_276_2183f221961eca3a775e6ff19ff943360d59f78d.jpg

    IMG_20131006_115359_d6fd5dce650167ce3ed0b6542c538a26785514c7.jpg

i do switch back and forth between my sets of wheels. Seeing as gas is now $4.31 a gallon im running my stocks again. Eventually ill sell both sets of rims and tires and pick up this wheel and stick with one set....

So for now thats my setup. Ill be sure to update it as i go. I plan on taking it slow...ish from here on in.

Nice truck! Always liked the 6 inch lift. Maybe one day. Lot of small details really caps it off.
