Yep! I recently moved so updates slowed a bit. I did all my chrome with either black or blaze yellow plasti dip and I think it looks infinitely better. I'll post some updates with better pictures later but for now here's a little teaser.

I really do love Alaska. you might recognize some of them in the first few posts, they're all around Fairbanks/North Pole area. I'm in Juneau now though.
I know right! finally start my head lights and then they decide to fly.

Yea, the shot of the truck near the north pole plaza looked familiar. Used to shop in that sporting goods store. Ahh, moose creek lodge, the refinery my old stomping grounds.

I love this truck.... I'm really starting to itch to get some stuff done on mine based on what I'm seeing here.

How do you feel about the supercharger? I know you said you were looking at a new WRX (I also was) and decided to go the route of a truck too. I have a 2004 STI that I decided to keep instead of peddling to get a 2015 WRX... Does the SC provide decent power? I'm starting to not like the idea of paying insurance and keeping a car and truck on the road and I really want to see if I can make the truck feel decent with a SC.

They will be! It definitely occurs not as severe as up in Fairbanks, but the endless overcast days really darken things up.

Well as I've posted a few different places here I really do love my supercharger. It was totally 100% worth it! The sti will still be faster for sure and handle extremely better of course than a stock supercharged tacoma, but making the truck feel decent? Shit. It's a blast. Sounds great, feels great, drives great, maintains warranty, even more fun in the rain, gets a couple more mpg if I'm able to keep my foot out of it (I haven't been able to so far), and has the potential for more power down the road. Plus it's way more unique than an sti.

I just finished reading all the posts about your adding a super charger. Good write up. I have a 2012 Prerunner that I am looking to add a supercharger too to be used for towing a travel trailer. I have been reading posts all over the map about adding this. Since you actually have one installed what are your views about using it to add more power for towing?. Have you had any heat related problems with your?

That was one of the reasons for getting it. I have only towed once or twice since owning the truck but it definitely helps in the power department. Never had any heat related problems what so ever.

    Couple recentish pics....

Alright finally broke down and got some new tires and wheels while I was at it. Went with the SCS Stealth 6's and 265/70/17's. Here's an Iphone pic right after I picked it up.
