Debadged my tailgate today and got my new spare mounted. 265/75/16 Cooper S/T brand new, got it for 75 bucks. Mounted it on a 16x8 Pro Comp steelie from Wheelers Offroad. The rest of the badges will come off tomorrow then she needs a good coat of wax!

Sweet! I ordered front bumper, rear bumper, IFS skid, and a mid skid. We haven't had much of a winter here, but I know what you mean. I have a Shittybilt XRC 9.5 Pro on the way too... Oh and a color matched Satoshi... Oh and getting tint next week! Haha, I might have went a bit overboard with my tax return. Oops... forgot I ordered a Relentless Hi-Lift mount too.

They make a 16" steelie that fits the second gen? I thought you could only get them to fit with wheel spacers or by grinding the calipers, neither of which is reccomended.

I haven't test fit it yet, but I know they had a 16x8 with 4.5 BS that fit, this one has 4.25 BS. I got it from Wheelers and as far as I know they fit. I am gonna give it a shot later today. I was under the impression the 15" wheels were the ones that had issues.

From the research I've done on TW and tire shops, it's not the BS that's a problem. It's the structure between center hole and the rim. Supposedly it won't clear the calipers in the front.

Keep us posted after the fit-up. I'm curious to know if they fit. If they do, I'll be buying some.

Wheelers ad states they fit but I'm gonna test fit it anyhow.

This ^^^ its the shape of the rim not the backspacing because the stock wheels have like 5.25" backspacing.

I'll post pics and let you know when I give it a shot, but I trust Wheelers when they say it will work. :) The description says the hub area on the wheel was redesigned to fit.

    From the description:

Heavy-duty 16″ x 8″ black powder-coated steel wheels manufactured by Pro-Comp. These wheels have a 6 on 5.5″ bolt pattern and 4.25″ of backspacing. Historically, these 97 series wheels don’t fit Toyota’s without a wheel spacer to clear the front brake calipers. The wheel centers in these special order wheels are made with brand new tooling that is specifically made to clear Toyota brake calipers.

Here we go boys! Put her on and drove around the block. Fits fine. Not much room between the wheel and caliper, but no rubbing or issues.

Got my Relentless Fab Hi Lift mount this weekend. Installed it today after work. Seems like a great product so far.
