Thought I might as well start a thread since I now have close to 10K CAD into the truck and my wallet fears for it's life in the future. I started with a stock DC TRD Sport (Canadian Specs of course), and I went from there.

First some background, when I was a kid till I left for university my parents were nazi's and wouldn't let me mod my vehicles at all. I had a 2003 GMC extended cab Z71 GFx edition and was massively frustrated watching every other small town kid lift, lower, or deck out there trucks while mine sat stock. I loved the truck, right until my brother blew out everything behind the motor derping around with his friends, which is another story.

Anyways, when I was 18 my dream truck was the a new 2nd generation Tacoma. I then preceded to do something stupid and get married! :p

So I owned a line of small cars until last 2013, when I got divorced and literally in the same week walked in and bought a brand new 2013 TRD Sport. Another funny fact is my Ex was my sales person, which was okay since we had been separated but friendly for a long time and she helped me get an awesome deal.

    Updated 1/13/2017

I've been running the Radflos and used Allpro arms for about a year ago. No regrets. The setup has worked well for me up to this point.

    Done:
    TRD Supercharger
    Grillcraft grill
    Toyota front end badging
    Phillips Osram Nightbreaker headlights.
    Rigid Dually LED 2x2 lights
Pelfreybilt Hybrid bumper with hoop powder coated blue
    Pelfreybilt Skids
Superwinch LS8500 winch with synthetic rope
    Underhood LED lights
    LED dome and map lights
    LED license plate lights
    Cooper 255/80/R17 ST Maxx tires
    FN F(x) Pro 17" rims
Radflo 2.0 Coilovers with 600 lbs coils set to 3" lift
Bilstein 5100's rear with 2" AAL
Redline hoodmounts (no more prop rod)

    Parts installed then ditched:
50" off label light bar (Gone as soon as I get my rack on, thing took on water like a sub with a screen door.)
Custom roof light bar mounts (Will be for sale)
Volant CAI with scoop that pulls air from higher than the stock airbox. (coming out soon to role back to stock for snorkel.)
Catback Flowmaster dual out exhaust (GONE!)
    5100's in front
    USOffroad undercover winch
    Steel winch cable
    Lifetime LED headlights and Fogs

    Will do:
Install URD fuel pump (already purchased)
Change coilovers to 650 lbs springs
Prinsu rack (sitting ready for install)
Safari snorkel (sitting ready for install)
    30" light bar in rack
ARB rear locker 3rd and air connections: ~2000 CAD (Not going to regear, I'm actually at a good place with the S/C and 33's for drivability)
URD Y pipe to gain ground clearance and eliminate a set of cats: ~375 USD

    May do:
    New long tube headers.
63" GM leaf swap with 14" shock hoops through the bed for trail limo max travel: ~500ish (but our friend will need lots of beer lol, this is still up in the air but I can't see a better way of gaining travel in the rear with long term ownership in mind and keeping the box usable)
Rear bumper with swing out: ~1100 CAD (custom, my wife's bestie is now a welder and loves playing with aluminum so all I need is some CAD time and a plan)
AFR, fuel flow gauge, and boost gauges in preparation for UCON EMS, smaller pulley, and tune (could get up past 350 ft lbs of torque to the wheels, which would be useful OR with a full trail limo sized load)
Dual battery setup with AGM batts.
Upgraded wiring from battery, alternator, and associated connections.
    iPad in dash for nav.
Ham in cab (only if I can find time to take a course)
35" tires (very big maybe, I've been very happy on skinny 33" tires for my needs and then I'd HAVE to regear by my estimates)
    Front locker

As always, any comments or suggestions are appreciated!

Okay so now the truck has no bull bar. Instead I've gone with the USOffroad undercover winch mount, which is a fantastic product, and an 8,500 lbs winch. I also have a 50" light bar which has a slight whistle that none of the quick solutions seem to fix but I'm working on it!

I also went to 33" Cooper ST Maxx tires and did the ECGS swap while I was at it. I did end up with some rubbing on the stock UCA's that 1/4" spacers fixed perfectly.

I dig the winch mount. Might have to look into that one myself. Want a winch but have no need for a steel bumper.

ST Maxx have gotta be the nicest tread going.

    Truck looks solid man!

Between the low weight and other great features the winch mount adds to the truck I don't see how someone could not end up putting one on their truck. I added about 100 lbs of weight to the front including everything. That's less than half of what a full steel bumper weighs in at. It keeps the factory looks and aerodynamics yet gives you steel, a set of solid recovery points, and a winch tray. Definitely one of the greatest little products on the web. Check out USOffroad if you're interested.

Found some made in Canada Crosby shackles for super cheap at my local autoparts place. Who would of thunk it?

I also found a fix for anyone who is having a whistle from under there lightbar. This stuff, stacked up and then squished under the bar, does the trick great :woot:

LOL, my dad likes that I have a hobby but my mom definitely hates the cash I spend on it. If your parents like you spending money on anything else other then food, investments, and housing then I think you might of had a bad upbringing jks.
