    Thanks Andres,
Love your work! I inquired a few times to you... each time I had things come up and could not place my order during your times. Ended up swapping stock parts/horns with a guy who was selling his truck.

    3" lift
Any rubbing with the 285 tires? how much lift did your aftermarket suspension give you. I have a 3.5" walker evans suspension and was thinking of adding 285-70-17 tires.

I am settled in the front at 2.5" and they do rubber but only in reverse with medium flex. I trimmed slightly in the front of the tire and it mostly gone now. I don't notice it unless I am off road. I have not gone with new uca's yet.

In the rear I am around 3.5". No rubbing at all.

Hello just wondering if you had to run wheel spacers with those fj rims to run the 285 tires?? Thanks

I am not running spacers but do slightly rub the stock UCA at full lock.

Dude...I'm glad I ran across your build. You've got exactly what I'm working on...even down to the ARB compressor. And I was wondering if I'm the only one with a 2" difference in the front with this set up. I think I want to raise it an inch though. I'm even ordering bamf sliders and didn't want the kick outs and at 10 degrees too. up the great work!

Thanks man! I am going to be making some changes soon. Within the next month or so, before it starts getting cold. I just purchased some used Icon reg travel coilovers (on a budget, just under $700 after rebuild).Sent them out to be rebuilt today. Also going to remove a leaf in my custom pack to gain a little softer ride and more flex on the trail.

I haven't been able to or will be able to make many more changes in the near future as I just bought a fixer up home that has its name on my cash and time.

    Update: 9/7/2014
    Rear lift changes:
Removed the longest of the 3 Chevy leafs from my packs to help with articulation. I can finally stuff the tire in the wheelwell.
Rear lift dropped about 1 inch with 450 lbs in/on the bed.
    Loaded:
Hub to fender down from 25" to 24".
    Unloaded:
Hub to fender remains at 25".

    Front lift changes:
Front lift height number, as predicted, have dropped with the addition of armor.
    Down from 23" to 22.25"

    New Purchases:
Icon coilovers used. Going to rebuild them before mounting them up.
Lined up a deal for a set of front and rear 4:10 gear sets, plus rear carrier.

Installed Icon 2.5 reg travel coilovers tonight to replace the bilstein 5100 with 885s. I was debating even installing the Icons because the bilsteins started to be so smooth with the added weight of my armor. But I am glad I did. Now these are AWESOME! Now to compliment them in the rear!

Keep me updated on the icons! I want to upgrade in the spring. I was looking at the new OME BP-51 but they might be a bit pricey and I figure there will be a shit ton of used icons with low miles for sale! Haha
I may have a buyer for your 5100's and 885's... He'd def take the 5100's but he's a 4 cyl AC... Have to take them apart

Will do. So far they are a night and day difference. Mostly in the steering wheel is where I notice the dif. Doing 30+ down a washboard dirt road is like driving on glass now.
