 I hope to get all the "necessities" done by next year so I can run with ya'll. I've been following your build for a while and it was awesome to see it in person! It's nice to know some people are as cool as their trucks

how much thread showing on your icon coilovers with 700 lb springs? And how is the ride? I'm worried my incoming pelfrey bumper will make me either crank them up or get new 700 lb springs.

I have 1" thread showing, I switched out my 650# springs before I added any weight up front and didn't have any noticeable difference in ride quality, just less preload, so I can't comment on how added weight and 650's will be. You will be cranking them more with a steel bumper, so naturally the ride quality will go down.

Also, with 650's (and sway bar) when cornering fast, my VSC kicked on a lot, now with the 700s and no sway bar, I haven't had that happen yet.

Thanks, I'll probably order some 700 lb just in case. It's a good thing I don't have vsc on my 05 :D.

Alright, thread revive. Been out of town, bought a new house, got a kid on the way and a new job. Finally got everything lined up and ready to throw more money into the mods. Just ordered a pelfrey hi clearance rear with gate swing. So 8-10 weeks. Kicking around the idea of a Frontrunner slimline bed rack for a future RTT purchase as well. Hoping to catch some meets in the fall!

LED "rock lights" came in the mail. Install next week. Also got my OEM bed mat in, something I've been meaning to do for several months!

I got 8 6" strips for under $30, claim to be "100% waterproof". We will see, I'm out of town this week, so install is mid next week. Magnets and angle iron with epoxy is how's it's getting mounted. There's a link somewhere here where I got the idea so I'll try to find that shortly.
