Overland All-terrain Build

First truck was an offroad toy, but proved too much for me to handle after sinking it not once, but twice. My goal now is an all terrain overlander. It will be a slow moving build but will be fun.

2008 DCLB TRD Sport with tow package

Offroad toy compared to stock soon-to-be overlander

CURRENT MODS:

CBI front bumper
CBI bushmaster 2.0 rear bumper
CBI swing-away tire carrier with jerry can and hi-lift mount
Warn m8000s
48" Hi-Lift Xtreme
RadFlo extended travel coilovers
LR UCAs
Redline tuning hood struts
BFG A/T 265/70/17
Magnaflow
AllPro Expo leafs with Ubolt flip
Famous Fab shackle flip
Fox rear shocks
SS brake lines
BFG AT
Blue interior carpet
Wet Okole seat covers Cobalt Blue

FUTURE MODS:

CBI rock sliders

ARe camper shell

Dual battery system

Water storage+pump w/ shower system

Fuel storage (maybe long range fuel tank)

Safari snorkel

CVT tent

12v fridge

Max-trax

Tire repair kit

Some sort of compartmentalized bed storage

Tow rope

Aux fuse block

Fluids/oil bag

Hi-lift base

First aid

GPS

I am very open to suggestion. Please let me know how I can improve!

Yea, I don't know what's available but I like the ARE CX, but they are kinda pricey. Any ideas? I plan on putting a topper tent on it so it needs to be fairly sturdy

have you thought about doing something like this Chris? one of the guys posted it on the TW page on FB, softopper with a cage support type thing that goes over the topper to hold the RTT, I think that'd be pretty cool, this is sorta the route that I was thinkin about taking since the softopper you can actually just fold up and its not huge like the ARE caps are

Yea I've thought about it. Still undecided what I want to do. The softopper would be nice if in keeping it in DD status.
