Such an awesome build. I love all the trips from DMC on DR and the mouse is my favorite one. This build might take it tho.

    1) Im interested to see if youll be doing a fuel cell and how you get around smog.

    2) Also how you go through putting a new rearend in... Ive heard that its hard to put a new rearend in on the autos because of something to do with the "tone rings"

    ONce again. Awesome build

Yeah the runs are badass that's for sure. Trying to make one we have planned in November. The mouse is an amazing creature. I have a lot of blood and sweat into that thing too
It will be using the stock fuel tank actually and in the stock location too. Yeah 9in can be a bitch but currie makes all the parts to run the tone rings on them. I will be running the stock axle for a bit though, I'm already over budget and I need some dirt in my system ASAP!

I know youll be doing alot of the work, so please make sure update this thread when you go through the process on setting up the rearend....especially any info about the tone rings setup.

So much good prep on this truck, from tucking the tubes into the cab and also fully boxing the frame. You definitely know what youre doing. Ive seen some real bad ones. Good luck

Yeah, I learned a lot about trucks this past year, hopefully the next step will be slowly learning how to weld and fab. Until then I'll have to drool over your truck, do you work for a shop or anything? Looking at getting a spacesaver bedcage around december :D

Nope i have never worked for a shop. I just do it for fun on my own projects and help buddies out too. I just actually stepped up from driveway fab to garage fab when I bought my house. Haha! I actually work on a drilling rig, drilling water wells.

The bed will be on but it won't be intact. Gotta make a couple holes for the shocks and a little cage work.

Got the bypasses mounted and the tube work done on the engine cage this weekend. Just need to finish plating in the bumpstops.
