I wish my build was close to this, I am in high school as well. All I have been able to do are new rims and tires, flowmaster muffler, and a bakflip tonneau cover. I want a lift so bad but my parents said I would have to pay for gas, and my job doesnt pay enough to where I can pay for my own gas. Like the build so far

I don't believe I saw it posted in the previous pages, but do you know where your parents got your headlights from? and how is the light output?

Lift doesn't do any noticeable difference in gas mileage (unless you go ridiculously high), putting on bigger tires does. What size tires do you have? I went with a small lift and still have my 265/75/16 tires and they don't look to small. Would I like 285's? Yes but I don't need them. I commute in my truck 45+ miles a day and still get 19-20 mpg and thats in Washington where its constantly going up and down hills, no flats

I think they got them from anzo USA. But if I were to do it again I would probably have a fellow tw member do a retro fit with a halo. I'd say there's barely any output gain over stock besides the fact they look awesome and get a lot of head turns and compliments. The lift didnt effect my gas mileage at all btw. I lost about 3 mpg's woth 285's, but keep in mind I probably have one of the heaviest foots in northern colorado. You could probably get 15-16 mpg's of your nice with your foot on 285's. Glad you like my build!

I have a pretty heavy foot foot but now that I have an ultragauge I play the game to see how high I can get my gas mileage too. What type of gas mileage are you getting right now with everything.

On a good day I'll get 15. That's when there is no girl with me. When a girl is with me I usually get around 12.5. I could probably get up to 16-16.5 if I really tried

Oh well yours is just one size down height wise. I have 1.75in up front and about 2.5 in the back. Bilsteins in front and Dakar springs in the back, although you only need an AAL to lift the rear, not a whole spring pack. Coming home from wheeling i got 21.7mpg, all highway speeds with some stop and go

So you don't have a full suspension system? and hows the ride off-road and what about the ride on road?

What do you mean by full suspension system? Like new coil overs? I have stock coils with new struts, but the rear is completely new (dakars and bilstein 5125's)

The ride isn't bad at all. It is a little stiff but its a truck so I am used to it since I grew up with nothing but trucks and SUV's. Off road it can be a bit much for bigger potholes but not bad at all.
