Cool man good luck with it! It was weird for me to go from Houston, TX, a big city, to small town Kansas! They are total opposites lol

Did you try sanding them down? I haven't done this myself yet but I removed the chrome from my grille surround. I had some success with a razor blade but be very careful not to cut into the plastic because it will show

Not talking about the grill, I'm asking about the three grey rings around the speedometer, fuel gauge, RPM's, etc

No I know :) I was just saying it was similarish lol good luck though! I saw a write up that didn't completely remove it but just scuffed it good with sandpaper.

I'm trying to do the interior paint similar to T4CH0CH40S, and Fiend13. I need to take the rings off and out of my truck to paint them.

Thanks! So unfortunately while I did manage to deconstruct/reconstruct my dash and all, my friend and I chose to go a cheaper and faster way which only ended up incredibly ugly..... I'm going to be sanding everything back down again and trying again this time taking my time and focusing on quality. Also won't be buying the cheapest paint products I can find. I probably won't put any pics of it up, cause it's pretty bad, but I should be fixing the issue within the next week or so.

So first off here's a quick pic from a trail trip I went on with a friend, didn't get one of our trucks together, but his will pop up in here eventually.d2876a8f-26aa-4f51-9311-8ad02a8f6871_zps_bfe4d57315a49fe3094cfab1308df4e11789fa87.jpg

On a more personal note, At my first home football game Friday night, I ended up tearing my MCL and may be out the rest of season depending on how my MRI on Tuesday goes. :( I'm pretty sure knees shouldn't bend like this(I'm in the purple) :

Just saw that you ran into problems with the interior. You get it all finished up?

Kind of, I ended up sanding it all back down, and just put on matte grey for the wheel emblem and shift knob until I could decide on paint color, and redid the console in black.

Picked up an adjustable matte black exhaust tip with a resonating chamber in it. Loving it so far, but doesn't really effect the sound too much though. Also has a 4" outlet, really mean look. I'll post a pic later tonight.:D

Does anyone have experience with Doug Thorley Long Tube Headers? I've been looking into some and wanted some information on them. Thanks!

Had a bit of fun with the truck and a few buddies! After this, got pretty stormy and I had a chance to ruin that fresh wash, take a mid highway pic, and play with B&W.:D

Finally decided to take a day with a few buddies to get some mods out of the way! I went ahead and redid my interior painting, and it looks so much better thanks to a little hard work, and also picked up a pair of LP530 Piaa fog lights to replace the thrashed stock ARB ones. They're insanely bright and I can't wait to find some way to mount them other than on the bar itself!:confused::confused:(Anyone? Anyone? Bueller...? Bueller...?) Helped my friend discover the wonders of Plasti-Derp as well.:D

The old ARB fogs literally fell apart...:( The other side were so fogged up they weren't any good. However they were warrantied, and a new set should be here within a week.

    IMG_9978_zps584a036f_1a1bea745bac75f771f22a5979b6d133703ef4c2.jpg

So, as an early Christmas present to me, I picked up these:

    IMG_0240_zps05e0430c_c9ed6162ffeb5836cdac24f4f7ea18f2de2df553.jpg

To begin the proccess for the mods, we of course needed some good music to test out my friends stereo... Sorry for his cracked screen

    IMG_0198_zps2994e7ea_1c03abd718f6a06165529a1527241d98262e7040.jpg

    Then, onto my painting!

    IMG_0202_zps807149f8_4d4621681b51be19e85dd10540539479635b65ef.jpg

Gotta love watching paint dry! :bored:

    IMG_0200_zpscb71e16f_84a07c33f4a6dc0ea021ab3f523b8ee672737be2.jpg

And the finished product, which looks MUCH better than the crap job done before, although it may still need some improvement:rolleyes: (Thanks to Fiend13, T4CH0C40S, and Moose for the idea!)

My dad found his old IPF 7" offroad lights from his FZJ80, and if he can find the harnesses, is going to let me have them!:D

Decided to say screw the ARB fogs in general. I'm going to rip the whole assembly out and hopefully put in a pair of the rigid dually lights with Christmas money, and from selling the new warrantied fog assembly.

Thank you. Sorry I'm not on this site very often as I don't have much going on with the truck for now.
