Been prowling around these forums for a few months now and figured it was time to do a build page. The other pages helped me try and figure out what I wanted to do so now it's my turn. So here's when I first brought my new 2014 home next to my 1st Gen.
    1545ea87eeb8ac01785fb7910d553191_zpsbec6_64ee4a466018db1a7727ea9639915a68b3c08e49.jpg

1st thing done was a shorter antenna (8$ at auto zone) then came the window tint of 20% on the front portion of the cab to match the factory back. Like 3 weeks into it I saw the rigid industries grill/light bar combo. That weekend it came in and installed it with a buddy of mine to a factory like push switch.
    1a3da81a70cd0d65fe8b1184e6408286_zps3a4d_bf2791b2ad556e53f0ee807f9c422f540c4e455a.jpg

    56227ff9495c29a1ec9bee466c10c3d1_zps4a03_2fb2b2f544996108bf381956dd7a6b382947089f.jpg

    e8fab1f5a04bb2f8d3a01a9f103b3ea0_zps43d0_bf7d25c9586043e931d6396f7da99c481750cfef.jpg

Next came the audio upgrade. I wanted to keep the factory HU and upgrade the crappy factory speakers, while adding an amp with 10in sub. Not wanting to deal with this mod decided to take it to a local shop and get it done. The guys at street sounds in Nashville did an awesome job. They built a custom box to my specifications with the upholstery style of my choice.

    6d5a08d7966b6020f3ab7f4f70680934_zpsd945_6cc76ba1acb3372d66870d814d611d3422deb851.jpg

Also I didn't upgrade the speakers in the ceiling and instead opted to put in speakers in the rear doors. The brackets were already back there so that made for an easier install.
    fa34447bc2394946f0e2fb7a81da372f_zps09bf_98b3755a68b404aac79c9ecf6de41ca0742447f5.jpg

This set up has all memphis components with a 750 watt amp under the passenger seat powering the front and rear speakers along with the sub. They added a remote sub control in the little cubby next to the steering wheel which was great. This went along with my whole theme of trying to make everything appear as factory as possible.

I really liked the idea of a bed based bottle opener so I got one and riveted it to the bed.

Next came the tool box. I wanted a black slim low profile one. After some digging on the forums I came across what I was looking for. It was a 100$ Kobalt box from lowes. I took the box and roughed it up completely with my drill and a wire brush and coated it with self etching primer and premium flat black rattle can. I love the results but would like to possibly get it powder coated down the road.

Next came a front window tint of 45%.

Not liking the way my truck sat I wanted to do the lift. I settled on the toytec ultimate lift kit at 3in with total chaos upper control arms.

That completed I ordered a set of matte black Fj trail team wheels and put a set of BFG AT 285/75/16s on. Loved the results

The switch came from an Ebay company called air on board they have all kinds of different swtches. I may eventually change out the LEDs in it to match the factory colors. And hey other Colton!

Something looks funky with your UCA's...They look like they're at full droop when you're just sitting level.

They should look something like this:

    Truck looks nice otherwise!

Love it so far, but anyone who attempts this needs to make it clear to the window installer to be very careful in terms of the motor. If they are not paying attention the cable will get twisted and the window will bind during operation. You will have to take the unit part and allow the cable to untwist. I discovered this after getting all the rear paneling put back on.

Got the rack bolted on and sealed. Then through buckets of water on it checking for leaks, luckily it's still dry!

    I went mainly by this.

However it's a hell of a learning experience. The front portion was easy because of the bracket that comes with the OEM roof rack, the rear was a little different because it doesn't give you good access to make sure everything is sealed up. And the rear side curtain air bags sit in a bracket right below we're you need to drill so you have to work around them the whole time. In the write up above they kept the bars going sideways, I didn't really like that. So I measured out how much material to take out of the bars and cut them to size and reassembled.
