Wanted a place to start compiling process and photos, so here it is.

I'm a college student studying Industrial Design. I love exploring and doing things outdoors, and wanted a truck that could take me anywhere - whether that be on the beach, through the trails or up the mountains. It also gets a lot of use hauling materials/tools both for school and for personal projects. I was close to just buying an old F250 to get me through school, but couldn't be happier having made the plunge into a brand new Taco.

    Thanks

They ride great. I've never ridden in another lifted taco, but I'd say this is a really good entry level suspension setup.

Nice build so far man truck looks good and has a nice stance. I like that grill mesh and BAMF lettering and the FJ rims look sharp with those tires. Have you had any rub issues with this setup and spacers?

I had a bit of rub when I first installed everything, but I've gotten rid of 99.9% of it from cutting out plastic in the inner fenders. No big deal.

How many coats did you use on the taillights?? I want to buy aftermarket black but every style made for the tacos I dont like at all. And it was rustoleum correct?

Yeah it's the rustoleum. I put 4 or 5 coats on each. Just spray all the parts at the same time so you're sure they're evenly coated.

Thanks man. 3" lift. I added some more recent photos. Planning to upgrade front suspension as its sagging now from added weight. Back looks great with Dakar springs.
