I purchased a 2014 DCSB TRD OR 6 Speed Entune Plus on 7-31-14 with 57 miles on the clock. The truck is back from the dealer with a TRD Supercharger installed.

You can see my old 2003 TRD OR 5 Speed with a TRD Supercharger, TRD CAI, and TRD Exhaust in the background.

Funny thing is when I was negotiating with the dealer for the truck their partner dealership it sold. They were able to track another one down for me in 24 hours. A couple of days later I was at my buddies house showing him my new truck. Another one of our friends showed up with a new Tacoma too. Sure enough it was the one I had been trying to buy. They have the exact same build code and VINs off by 200.

Got it back from the dealer today with some new hardware:

I had a TRD cat back exhaust sitting in the garage waiting for it along with an aFE intake.

I ran into a problem installing the exhaust. The exhaust I bought was from a 2012 and not a 13 as it was sold as:

Note the rear hanger orientation :censored:[IMG]

That made it a real b1tch to install temporary until I can get my hands on my friends welder and plasma cutter.

I was able to get the rear hanger on but it's not ideal by any means:

I'll try and snag some pics of the intake soon. If you're going to install it put the air filter adapter and the smog pump bracket on before you install the housing into the truck. Trust me it will save you some colorful words

My wife got me the TRD short shifter for my truck for Christmas. I finally got around to installing it a few days ago. Using this guide.

I didn't have a problem with using the stock one but this thing makes the 6 speed feel 100x better than stock. They should have made this the default from the factory on all 6 speeds.

    Before:

I was about 5 inches from 1st to 2nd and if I had anything tall in the cup holder my hand would hit it.

    After:

It is just over 3 inches from 1st to 2nd! My front cup holder is usable for tall items too.

During the install I did not have to remove any metal (all the guides and even the TRD instructions said it needed to be done). I'm not sure if Toyota changed the shape of the access port or I got lucky.

If you have a 6 speed you need to get one of these.
