Matt Viv's '14 Sky Silver Metallic SR progression

On August 8th I traded in my '054Runner Limited with 160k on the dial. I was sporting BFG RuggedTerrain's 265/75R17 with a 2.5" Daystar lift and SpiderTrax and some othergoodies. Truck was good to me, but with my busy schedule it was tough forme to work on it when something broke.Idecided to pull the trigger and started my research, at first the searchstarted out with Cert Used, but then the dealer talked me into go New; I wentback homed armed with literature and started researching trying to figure outwhat features I needed to have and which ones would have been ‘bonus’.

Example, I came to the conclusionthat the TRD trucks where a little too much (budget) for me.And the Pre-Runner truck would just be atease for me.I didn’t want buy to buy aWhite or Black vehicle again.

So I began my search for a 4x4Access Cab SR with the 2.7L I4/5-Speed manual.I went back to my dealer he tried locating one, but couldn’t because howthe other dealers ‘coded’ the truck in the dealer network. And he only had one, a loaded TRD Double Cab thatwouldn’t have worked out for any of us.So off to the other Toyota dealerships, I knew my search would be trickybecause they have have “stopped” delivering 2014s and the 2015s haven’t startedproduction yet.I ended up going to 6different dealerships looking for exactly what I wanted (within 2 hour drive Ihave over 30 Toyota dealerships).I hadone dealership that wanted to dump a Base Double Cab with Navi (I can’t livewithout Cruise Control) on me.

I found what I was looking for andpurchased a 2014 Tacoma Access Cab, 4x4, 2.7L I4 with 5sp Manual Trans with theSR and Convenience packages in Sky Silver Metallic.I am happy for my decision; to help myself keepthe truck for a long while I added the 5yr/100k Platinum Warranty.

I have some general plans for it, butnothing is happening anytime soon.

First round of mod's I like to accomplish:
Morimoto XB LED Fog Lights
Windows vent (Weathertech)
All-Weather floor mats
Tint windows
Change the wiper stalk to an intermittent style (OEM/Factory parts)
SoftTonneau cover (roll-up, Velcro, sits on top of bed rails)
InteriorLED bulb swap
Add someaccent/glow lighting on the interior
ChangeHeadlight blubs and Amber color on the front (Philips Xtreme Vision orHella/Narva 55w/100w with upgraded wire harness)
Front Light Bar

Long term Goals(dreams) that I have:
Bigger tires (265/75R16 or255/85R16)
2-3” suspension lift (shocks/coils)
Gears with traction aids
Bumpers and Sliders

on my old 4Runner, I converted all the interior bulbs over to 6K 5050SMD LEDs. The first night in the Tacoma, I couldn't see much with the dull brown incandescent color. So I went onto eBay and purchased some LEDs.
This time I went with the new Samsung LEDs in bright white (chips: 1x 2323 in Maps, and 9x 5360 in Dome.

Price: $15 (with extra bulbs)

Nice upgrade. What are the extra buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, at the bottom?
