    Yep, got a led strip in the same spot & Redline struts.
    I did the leds before the struts.

    I won't be going for the weekend but thinking about going up for the day on Saturday. Maybe I can get Nam, Andre (Aerial Tacoma) & Rick to come up with me, that's if Rick isn't already planning on going with Lee. I think Lee us just going for the day, isn't he?

    The struts are awesome, right after I did mine I had to take it in to the dealer & it was funny when the guy lifted the hood & it went up on its own. Caught him off guard & he still looked for the hood prop. Haha

    It's pretty fun out there, we had a good time back in June. I hunted out there yrs ago. The only bad thing is worrying about scratches. Haha

    He mentioned taking some video so im assuming he's going. I will def try not to get any scratches on my baby. :/


    I know!! I'm 6' tall and when the truck is in my driveway I had to get up on my tip toes to hold it up in order to get the prop in the hole. It's so cool to just open a couple inches and then it automatically opens. I got the Quicklift (cheaper set/$69) and just color matched the silver brackets. It looks like it was made with the truck. Had to get a $5 rivet gun at harbor freight.

    A few things
    Well, it comes with 4 rivets for the hood brackets, but you could use sheet metal screws if you wanted to. Just looks cleaner and more factory with the rivets. It has screws for the fender brackets. I was going to use screws but for only $5 for a rivet gun i said what the hell. To be honest the rivets seem a lot tighter then the screws too.

    A few things
    On the Hood Quicklift and Hood Quicklift Plus the shafts are black. The Hood Quicklift Elite has stainless steel shafts. The "Plus" has black brackets as well but costs $20 more. Cheaper and looks better imo to paint them body color.

    6 inch Douche Bag lift...what else do I need?
    I have the Quicklift Elites and they work great. I like the chrome look even though my truck is all black. They kind of "pop" under the hood. It's worth the extra few dollars IMO.
