This is my first truck so I'm learning as I go. I did all the work myself and it is a blast! I started out replacing the grill about 2 weeks after i bought the truck. Then almost a year later I got bit by the bug and started going to town. I plasti-dipped my stock wheels first then got new 265x70x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers on my stock wheels. That led to me getting a Pro Comp leveling kit and a 1" block. I thought I was in heaven with that and thought that I was pretty much done. Until I made some new local TW friends and seeing there cool rigs. Then I found out about Maxtrac spindles! So I got the spindles as well as some used 5100s set at 1.75, aal and 2" tapered blocks and spent a 12 hr saturday in my garage installing it all. I was totally stoked!! Since then I've replaced the 5100's with the Icon Resi's and added a custom leaf to my rear. As it sits now from center hub to bottom of fender I'm 27" front, 28" rear. About 1" higher then I was with the 5100's. No rubbing (haven't been fully stuffed though), and no vibrations (due to 4 crawler driveshaft spacer and about 5/8" of cb spacer).

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To re-calibrate your speedometer / mpg for bigger tires using Ultra Gauge:
Find a straight highway with mile markers
1-Align front tires with mile marker
    2-Reset trip gauges: Menu>Gauge Menu>Zero all trip
3-Travel to next mile marker (or 3rd mile marker etc) and align front tires to marker
    4-Select:menu>Vehicle setup>Calibration> Calibration Distance
    5-Change the value to 1.0 miles (or 3.0 miles)*using the up/down keys
6-Press menu to save and set the calibration

Once saved the calibration factor will be displayed at bottom of display. Write it down in case you need to input it in the future for some reason.
Avoid roads that are not straight. Generally more markers will improve accuracy. The greater the speed between markers the better the accuracy. If you choose do travel to 3 mile markers (instead of just 1) then enter 3.0 miles (on step 5). I traveled 3 miles on mine. My speedo was off like 5mph at 75. My radar detector has a gps and tells my speed when it detects radar and it matches perfectly to my UG.

Thanks. Yeah i just cut the muffler out and replaced it and then cut the tailpipe off right at axle. Blew packing out? Damn that sucks. So i guess it gets a little louder each day?
Thanks man. No spacers, just spindles up front (makes it 3/4" wider each side) and the offset of the wheels.

Thanks. It rides frickin awesome without the sway bar! But you need to have aftermarket coilovers or springs or else it will sway extremely bad (from what I've heard). I was a little afraid to take it off but after a bunch of people telling me it was ok i said screw it and took it off when i was putting my Icons and UCA's in. Unbelievable how much smoother it is when going over speed bumps, driveway approaches, etc.
