Nice looking truck man! I have the exact same truck and I am looking for that look as well, going to take some time to save up some extra $ though.

So I got in there today and adjusted the coils to get rid of the bro lean and level my tacoma. As you have read on here it is nearly impossible to adjust these coils. I lifted the truck on some jacks, removed the tire, and tried to use the wrenches provided. No matter how hard I pulled they did not even move a mm. So I ended up semi removing the whole strut and decompression the coil, w/out a spring compressor method. I then adjusted the collar.

I figured I would just follow Toytech's instructions that stated that .5 of thread showing = 1" of lift. I initially didn't follow this since it contradicted a statement later in the instructions that stated that to achieve a 3" lift you must have 2" of thread showing. So after some calculations that how I got to 1.4" of thread showing for a 2" lift.

Anyways at 1" of thread showing, I got the 2" lift I wanted and my truck sits perfectly leveled. I will post pictures later. Here are the before and after measurements. I did mine from the ground up, since I couldn't really hold it exactly at the hub making it inaccurate.

    Before: Stock TRD O/R DC
    Front 35"
    Rear 37"
After: Billies w/Ebach Adjusted to 2" lift
    Front 37"
    Rear 37"

So after going with the Bilstein 5100s w/ Eibach coils and then Toytech adjustable coils I decided to just go with a full kit from Icon. I decided on the Icon Stage I kit w/ extended travel CO and Wheelers 1.5 progressive AAL.[/QUOTE]
So do you like the Icon's ride better? How does it compare?

I love it! Apples and Oranges in my opinion. The ride is better than stock. It is super easy to adjust the icons vs nearly impossible to adjust the toytechs. I really liked the bilsteins w/ just the eibach coils set a zero. They leveled the truck and they were better than stock, but as soon as you go higher on the billies, even with aftermarket coils the ride was stiff and you feel every bump. I would have stayed with that set up but I wanted to fit 33s, which they wouldn't fit with that set up.

So after upgrading to Icons and the rear AAL I felt that my 265 70 17 looked small. So after reading many posts of all the trouble 33s can cause I decided to take the risk. I went with 285 70 17 Duratracs. I am super stoked on the look and I am another success story with absolutely zero issues. No rubbing at all and I didn't have to do anything other than remove the mud flaps...

So got the alignment done after installing my lift and there was no issues. Actually surprising to me they said that all numbers were within spec no adjustment needed.

I think you do if you go through the dealership, but I didn't need one through eBay. Like I said it was pricey, but I don't think it was more than what the dealership would have asked for, minus the hassle of the VIN and shitty customer service at my local dealership.

Beautiful truck man really like that blue. Those trophy rims and duratracs look sweet together which trophy colors is that exactly? I'm just starting off with billies and ome 887 coils with a 3 leaf progressive pack but eventually want icon front and rears. Good to hear about adjustability and ride. How have the duratracs been for you? Do you think you would have rub issues with a different back spacing on rims?

ready 6delta, thank you! They are the grey ones, they come in that color or black. The duratracs are really good tires. We recently had some snow and they did great. I did notice an increase in road noise from stock, but nothing like mud terrains. To be honest I am not really sure on regards to the backspacing. My local tire guy took care of ordering the right backspacing for me and I was lucky to have zero rubbing issues.

I never had just an AAL so I have nothing to compare. From what I hear they make the ride stiffer. I've liked it so far. No squeaking like i've heard and the ride is just like stock. Let me know if you have any other questions.
