Started some carbon fiber trim in the cab. Looks good from far but far from good. We'll see how look it takes till it starts to peel off. It's a bitch to apply. This project probably took me 2 hours. A very frustrating 2 hours.

Me likey! How are you liking the tech deck? Looks like it might get in the way when using the radio and AC controls. I like its capability though.

I love the Tech Deck. It's draw backs are not being able to see the clock anymore and having to drill into the truck. If you tap on your touch screen a lot then this might not be for you. Other than that it provides a very stable mount for your electronics. The most stable from all other mounts I've tried. I hardly use the touch screen as much as I use the steering wheel controls. It doesn't really get in the way of the AC controls unless you have something mounted underneath. All in all, I give it

I'm probably gonna rip the carbon fiber out. It's coming up in places where I needed to use a heat gun and massage it in crevices. I think I'll rattle can it instead. Add another notch to the fail counter.

Maybe I should stop documenting my failed attempts. Lol. Hopefully there's a noob out there learning from these mistakes.

Another option is to have the pieces Hydro-dipped in Carbon fiber. There are a couple guys I know on TW that do it. You would just have to mail your parts to them for the Hydro-dipping...

Ran out of mods to do and I had to get out of the house. So I went to go check if the combo for the lock at the gate at Kaena Point was working.

I didn't realize this till today when leaving Truck Fest but this mod took care of the irritating seat belt chime as well. Killed 2 chimes with 1 mod. I love it.
