I have a 05 access cab prerunner that I want to make live up to the prerunner name. Long travel with fiberglass and off-road bumpers wth tons of lights is what I have in mind. Is anyone on here sponsored by a company tha could hook me up with some of these items or are a vender yourself that could hook me up. So far I have some halo head lights and a satoshi grille with a few other small mods but I am looking to go full race truck with this and could use some help. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. I would plan on a vinal rap to represent all my sponsors.

The chances of actually getting free stuff is low but if you don't try the chances are zero so I figured I'd try

What do you bring to the table for potential sponsors other than going to car shows?

For one I'm in a region that long travel and desert trucks aren't that popular. I can help a company get closer to truly being nation wide

Sponsors will want to know what return they'll get on any investment they make in you regardless of whether that investment is in cash, parts, or labor. Speak to them in terms of numbers because that's how they're going to look at things. If they provide X, they'll want X+n in return or it's not worth it to them. Building brand recognition for sponsors is good, but driving cash to the sponsor's business is the end goal.

So with that in mind, what is your plan? Do you have any demonstrated experience and/or success driving customers to a business?

I don't really have anything on the truck to sell to people. This response is extly why I started this thread. I see your a modorator so you know first hand what I need and I have no clue

The internet already does that. You'll need something more.

I tried a similar route, but in my case I built the truck with my own money. I tried getting sponsors when I already had a showcase, was entering races, and was even in an area that's not well represented. It's a very, very hard sell.

What else are they looking for. I don't want to sound like the guy that will tell them exactly what they want to hear. But I'll tell them exactly what they want to hear if that's what it takes

Money. They want to know how sponsoring you will generate revenue for them.

basically if ur going with a race sponsorship, i would assume ur truck would already be built and have won/been in quite a few races, where a company would recognize your truck and say hey! i want that guy on our team, here switch out all ur parts for ( sponsor )'s parts.
