thanks man... a lot better than the bull bar! no more scraping on everything :D

Its a custom light bar...I bought it from a local member...It was meant to be welded on, but we made it 100% bolt on...

We might be fabricating these pretty soon...just gotta see how much the materials are gonna run us...

    :D

I bought it off of a Xr-underground.com member...

Here's what i started out with:

I cut off the bottom piece (the one that has red marks)

Had to trim a little bit because of my light bar getting in the way...

Mounted and ready to go: :D
    [IMG]

it "hooks" on to the oem lower bumper grille.. I used 3M Automotive molding/Trim tape for the bottom... I used two long pieces. The tape is about 1" wide....This things not going anywhere:cool:

I believe a few other guys are selling them too...

I really like the way it looks going halfway down instead of all the way to the bottom of the valance. Good work! AND if I get one, It'll technically count toward the Amalgam theme since the XR is a 5 lug. I'll see if I can find one for myself...who needs food?.

I've been meaning to ask someone...how well does the front license plate line up with the three little nubs?

    Cool stuff...I like!
How do you like the Carbon Fiber trim? Is it good quality?
I am on the fence, but I like the way it looks in the pics.
    The visor monitors are redunkilious!

    :D thanks.

The carbon fiber trim lasts if installed correctly. the parts that will have the carbon fiber trim on top need to be cleaned with alcohol prior to sticking on the kit. otherwise, they will not stick.

It's pretty cool, but i've actually removed a couple pieces since then. It was just tooo much...

I like it. Tell us more about the signals on the mirrors. I wouldn't mind a set of those.

i actually got them on ebay. ..came all the way from Hong Kong..
They were Chrome before too, sanded them, painted them...

Also, when i got them, they i guess they didn't take into consideration the the signal assembly would make them about 1/4" too short all around:confused:

I wasn't about them to let them be 1/4" short... I filled in and molded them to the original housings.. now after some bondo and trimming, they look like a one piece actual mirror housing..I'm pretty happy with the results soo far... I'm still not finished the sanding to get it perfect..

The signals are still not hooked up yet, I will be hooking them up VERY soon...I also tinted the signals to complete my "black n white" theme...

I should have more pictures soon

Here they are on ebay: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=tacoma+mirror+covers+led&_sacat=0&_trksid=p4999.m270.l1313&_odkw=tacoma+signal+covers&_osacat=0
